" You're not going anywhere..."
" What are you..." Penny stuttered as she breathed out, still in his embrace.
" Breaking cliché" He smiled, before leaning in for another kiss,
" By being cliché? Bloody hell..." She whispered whilst returning his affection, enraptured. " We should probably stop."
" Lo I l-" He began,
" I feel the same but erm... Dave we're kind of in the middle of the road." The brunette reminded, suppressing laughter.
" We- Shit." Dave snorted,
" Maybe we get in the car." Penny suggested.
" Might be the best thing to do." He nodded, still full of adrenaline.
" Are we going to talk about what happened or?" Penny asked as she turned onto Colney Hatch lane,
" Yes well I... I-" He stuttered.
" You kissed me." Penny reminded,
" Well I can't- I can't really explain that..." The bright-eyed guitarist spoke as he rubbed his neck, lost for words.
" Why toss yourself out in front of my car?" She began, " And then well..."
" Thought it was romantic?" He suggested, grimacing.
" You're a such an idiot." Penny smiled.
" You didn't think it was romantic?" He questioned sarcastically,
" It was cliché" The brunette snorted, " But nevertheless it was pretty romantic."
" You liked it?" Dave beamed,
" Liked it? My ex-boyfriend who I haven't had any romantic connection with for six years decides to kiss me the same day I saw him with another girl, yeah loved it." Penny explained.
" Lo I-"
" Who is she?" She asked,
" She- I met her a few days ago." He informed.
" Another fling huh David?" The brunette sighed, shaking her head.
" How do yo-" Dave began,
"Word gets around." Penny answered.
" Lo you broke me... I need a distraction..." The green-eyed man explained,
" By sleeping with a load of people? Like that's going to fix anything." She snorted.
" I needed something, some feeling... I felt-" He began, " Who's Steven?"
" Can we talk about that later?" The girl asked.
" I've been honest with-" He started,
" Shit." Penny whispered as they pulled onto the drive.
" Who's tha-" Dave questioned before he was cut off with penny slamming the car door shut.
