Penelope hadn't spoken a single word to anyone except Margie and her parents in what had felt like a lifetime, glancing out into the farm that were outside of these four walls. The lime-coloured trees swayed in the distance, which gathered around the centre stables; she hadn't ridden since she was fifteen. Her hope had been to forget about the reality, she felt eleven again, gazing onto the schools wide grounds. Staring far into nowhere, in her mind, the same aroma of books entered her nose.
" Penny are you coming out?" Margie called,
The brunette not only sure if she was hearing the girl behind her or the kind eleven year old before she meekly nodded.
" Penny what's going on huh?" Margie sighed, giving Penny a sympathetic look, before the brunette shrugged. " Penny come on."
" It's happening..." The ghost of the girl whispered.
" What?" Margie blurted, unsure.
" It's happening again..." Penny murmured.
" What?" Margie began, staring at the girl in front of her; this wasn't her best friend, this was the girl she'd first met: Shy, uneasy, fragile and traumatised. " Oh- Penny..."
" I think so..." The fragile girl breathed.
" You think it's come back- Well not come back- You know what I mean." Margie groaned,
" It never goes, it- it... It just waits, it's a lion and I'm- I'm its prey..." Penny explained.
" You need to talk to someone Penny." Margie suggested, moving over to the brunette.
" I need to be alone. It goes awa-"
" We both know that's not true." Margie disagreed, " We've done this once before okay? You can get through it again..."
" I'm not sure I can..." Penny stuttered.
" You can Penny." Margie nodded, trying to convince herself mainly.
" I've lost him..." Penny whispered, the realisation taking over what was left of the shadow-like girl, " This is the end..."

The late-afternoon sun shone into the brunette's room like it always did when the sun greeted Muswell Hill, Penelope wasn't exactly paying attention to the beautiful golden-like rays that mirrored her room. The thoughts of meeting some new musicians in Muswell Hill was appealing, she could enjoy the sound of music without thinking it was the- Well... Them...
Penelope didn't often make an effort on her clothing choices but today she'd made an effort today, for herself and well... She did want to make an impression on the band who she was going to meet in about in a hour. She'd chosen an Dark-Mustard Loop Button Plunge crop top with Burgundy Velvet bell bottoms, an old velvet captain hat, velvet jacket; scarf matching her crop top as she brushed her long brown hair and admiring the neat makeup job.
" You look lovely Penny!" Albert complimented, looking towards the living room window.
" Thanks dad." Penny thanked as she gathered a few things of the side cabinet,
" When are you going out darling?" He asked, still peering into the room.
" Oh in a bit, It's just with the nice guy from yesterday; what did you think of him dad?" The brunette questioned, making a cup of tea. Turning round she was met with her father still staring into the living rooms window. " Dad?"
" Hm?" He replied, still gazing.
" What are looking at?" Penny laughed, making her way over to the window; which was soon interrupted by a knock on the door.
