Do you remember last Christmas,
When you turned your back and left me alone?
Do you remember that moment
When you said goodbye, no mistakes to atone?
I kept re-living those times when we were still together
But my heart breaks when I realize that ‘we’ are no longer.
I used to have you in my dreams but now,
Only heartbreaks and tears fill me in my sleep.
I used to have smiles plastered on my face
But now, I shed the tears that I can no longer keep.
My legs are scraped but I don’t care
My face is covered with tear streaks,
Life isn’t fair.
I had you but you left me.
I can never forget that day, it was Christmas Eve
I can never forget the way you smiled at me when you said “I have to leave”.
