If you could ever bring back time,

What would you do?

I’d avoid making the mistakes I regret so much.

You don’t understand,

And you never will.

I never wanted to feel that same thrill.

The sound of gun shots

And people’s screams

Rang through my ears

I hear my sister yell for my name.

I see men playing

Like they’re on top of their game

Bloodshed, tear streaks,

Screams of plea

Trees burning, smoke inhaled.

The dark clouds hover the city’s sky.

People left alone,

In the end we will all die.

Hope not found in sight.

Freedom taken away,

We all have given up.

We will never see once again the light of day.
