One more word can cause a war
Step away, stay far
Just turn your back like what you always do
Besides, this is what I want too
You taught me what pain feels like
You taught me what love felt like
But you haven’t taught me the reason why
You went away, left me alone
You don’t care, no, not anymore.
That’s what you do:
You make me smile
You can make me cry
Then you break my heart
Then you pull apart.
You push your burden into my arms
Then they grow weak
I drop them all onto my feet
You then say sorry, for what?
Whatever you say, it’s got to be a lie,
You say ‘sorry’ because you regret ever leaving my side
Or is it because you were caught?
