They are someone who picks you up when you fall
Someone who is always there, needless for you to call
One look into your eyes, they’ll know when you lie
A True Friend will help you in any path you choose
No matter what comes in your way, when they’re beside you, you’ll never lose.
A True Friend, someone with you until the end,
Will forgive you and teach you where you were wrong
They won’t hurt instead, they’ll make you strong
A True Friend, someone who never pretends,
At any time, they’ll know what to say
Won’t leave you alone, as long as you want, they’ll stay
They’ll make you feel like you don’t have to care what other people think
They’ll lift you up, help you to never sink
They’ll bring you joy and happiness
Help you in times of weakness
No matter how many friends come in times when you smile
For you, there’s always someone who will willingly run an extra mile
Only one will stay by your side when you shed a tear
Share your worries with you and fears
Thousands of friends come when you’re happy
Laughing together with you in glee
But only one true friend comes when you cry
Will stay by your side, encourage you to once again try
