Life or Death

I have a question, a question for you.

It’s a matter of life or death, could I trust you?

Because of all the people I welcomed to my life,

Everyone had left, one by one.

Will you leave me too at the push of the button?

Like the wind, everyone had left.

My life I live lonely and sad.

I have the kind of life that could drive you mad.

So far so good, you haven’t left.

But could I trust you that you will never leave?

Do anything, make me believe.

I feel so lonely yet you are by my side.

You said you’ll never leave me alone until the day I die.

That sounds creepy yet so sweet.

I felt so lucky when our fates were destined to meet.

You wiped the tears away from my cheeks.

You stayed by my side when I felt lonely, fragile and weak.

I lost all hope yet you saved me from my sorrow.

You opened my eyes and made me see that there’s still tomorrow.

I learned how to smile once again,

You made me feel the all of the pain.

But my smile left my face,

Replaced by fresh tears

I watch your back as you walk away,

Away from my life, away from me.
