My Sorrow’s Song
It’s a bit short,
Not too long.
I smile,
It hides the feelings I feel.
It covers the broken heart
That will never heal.
I used to believe that what I felt was love,
That what I felt came falling down from the heavens above.
Love brought us so many moments of lies and tears.
One that we both thought would last through the years.
Now I’m alone,
Writhing in pain.
Too weak to stand,
Too weak to whisper your name.
I made a mistake, you weren’t the one.
Now I regret the actions I did once this song is done.
