She said she’ll do her best; He said he’ll never do it again
They promised that their relationship will never again cause them pain
She said she’ll be a good girl; He said no more playing around
But what happened to their words?
Forgotten, Thrown to the ground
They both said that they’ll do their best to never break up
But what happened? It’s not enough to just kiss and make-up
Their promises were thrown aside, waiting for a miracle from above
They can no longer trust each other, much less love
Oh how much they thought they found their true love
How much they believed that they found their other half
But unfortunately, they found another worthless and unneeded
But they didn’t know how wrong they were
Now, where are they? They’re drowning in pain and despair.
Regretting to have ever loved each other
Forgetting the moments they laughed from the deepest darkest part of their hearts
Missing the times when they felt free and unbounded
When they could do what they wanted, unrestricted.
