A hopeless romantic you say you are.
I bet you haven’t seen the cruelty that roams in your life.
I bet you’ve played with them, their games and their lies.
But I firmly believe,
You haven’t seen the truth that leads to grief.
Pain, hatred and loneliness
Have you ever thought what will give you happiness?
Love, joy and peace
Where will we ever find these?
If you believe in fairy tales,
You’ve made a mistake.
You miserably failed.
There’s a side to this world
That you never thought existed.
A side to this cruel world
Where all can be defeated.
Do you believe in soul mates
Or the red strings of fate?
When you kiss,
Do you feel the sparks,
The kind of sparks that could light up in the dark?
You’ve made a grave mistake.
They’ll make you feel pain,
More than you can take.
Everything, in the end, you will hate.
So give up on this silly game called love
before it’s too late.
