When Nobody Cares

Moonlight shining through your windows,

You’re in the darkness where the shadows roam.

Your screams pierce through the night.

Yet no one can hear, nobody knows.

Stars glinting above our heads,

You’re beside the window, crying alone on your bed.

“You’ll be forever safe”, that’s what you said

Now, all the promises made are dead.

All the things said were left at the back of your mind

All the things said are forgotten with time

Everybody left, the ones I call mine.

You found yourself, lost in the middle of nowhere.

You think to yourself, “Nobody could ever care”

You think to yourself, “Life is never fair”
