You Lied...For Her

Remember that day when you said you’ll be at home?

I saw you dancing in the club...you weren’t alone.

You buried your nose on her neck.

You didn’t even bother your phone to check.

I called you atleast a dozen times.

I tested you yet no reply.

Why did you do this to me?

Is this the type of scene you want me to see?

I went to talk to you, asked you what’s running through your head.

“I got bored” you unenthusiastically said.

I wanted to kick you, punch you dead.

You didn’t notice but I went home and cried.

I tried to find the answer on why you had lied.

But no answer came to mind.

No solution or any kind.

If you wanted to ‘play’ with someone else,

Then I’ll gladly let you go.

I’m okay with letting you go instead of cheating me with that hoe.

I tried my best all along,

Never thought that I thought this is where I belong.

So, tonight, I’ll say good bye.

Close your lips, I don’t want to hear another lie.
