"I think we should start getting ready, don't ya think, mister?" I reminded Jungkook, whose shoulder I was still resting on. We had stayed like this for a few minutes after Sana burst into the room, just enjoying each other's company. His strong arms wrapped around my bare body and his nose nestled in the crook of my neck.

"But you look too good pressed against this wall," he whined, placing gentle kisses down my neck.

This was the love I remembered. At this moment in time, I knew he adored me and that everything he'd done was for me - the love of his life.

Stretching my neck to the side, so there was more space for him to attack me with his sweetness. I exhaled as a familiar flame started building in my gut; every kiss felt like the birth of a thousand suns, exploding in my stomach. I wished we could have stayed like that forever.

He lightly traced his fingertips from my shoulder all the way down to my hand, where he promptly clasped it and spun me around like a ballerina to face him. I smiled at the warm man in front of me, the one with the choppy hair, dark eyes and cheeky grin. That was my Jungkook.

"I love you," he confessed softly like it was the only thing in the world he wanted to share with me at that moment, "more than you'll ever know."

"I love you too," I replied with my whole heart.

He grinned, revealing my favourite set of little bunny teeth, before placing a deep kiss on my lips. "Come on, Little Bird, I suppose you'll have to put some clothes on before leaving the house... I hate clothes, let's burn them all." He growled, tickling me and slapping my bare arse as I ran away squealing.

I rummaged through my wardrobe, dragging my hands across the different fabrics, trying to decide what to wear. May in Korea was my favourite season. The weather was milder, and the air was fresher as Spring coated the world around me. I could finally pack away my winter coats for good and bring out all my favourite summery pieces.

Looking at Jungkook, I hoped for some kind of inspiration, but he inevitably chose a pair of black cargo pants and a black t-shirt. Very original.

"If in doubt, wear black," he shrugged, reminding me of his motto. "Actually, wear anything but white!" He was clearly referencing back to Yoongi's birthday.

I was sort of shocked by his blunt words, seeing as that day was awful for the both of us, but I decided to brush it off. I didn't want to ruin the loving morning we'd just had.

"Okay," I said quietly, letting go of the white milkmaids dress I'd been waiting all year to wear, "I guess black shorts it is then."

"Wow, they're short!" Jungkook said, eyeing me up. "Hot, but short."
