"Omg! Look! Look! I passed!" I jumped while pointing my name on the board. "I'm heading to college! I'm number one! Omg! Omg! Look! I passed it!"

I held my phone and took a picture of the list. People were congratulating me and I kept on nodding my head, still smiling.

"Congratulations..." Alcaeus congratulated me as he smiled proudly. "Hardwork paid off."

"I know! I need to celebrate! That's me!" I pointed my name again. "I couldn't believe it! I topped it!"

I look at the list again and took pictures in every possible angle.

"You couldn't believe it? Why?" Alcaeus interrupted me again.

I gave him a dagger look, he was still smiling, then he got tired so it became weary.

"I couldn't believe it! I really thought that you occupied my mind because of your existence and you being a headache. I didn't have much time for studying because of you! My mind kept on repeating that I am going to fail because all of my focuses is on you!" I said without any pause.

Then I heard people's stupid teasing.

"Ayie! Sana all occupied!"

"Sweet naman!"

"E 'di kayo na."

I rolled my eyes. I glanced on the list once again before grabbing his wrist away from people.

"Was that enough look for you?" he teased.

"Yeah. I'm going home."

His head tilted and his face gave me the sarcastic expression.

"You asked me to be with you. Now, it's my turn."

"Saan naman tayo pupunta?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

"I don't know."

"Ano kaya 'yon."

Nagsimula na kaming lumabas ng school at nakita ko naman ang sarili sa salamin. I'm wearing a white off-shoulder and a high-waist pantalon. Siya naman ay naka-white t-shirt din at naka-caramel cargo short. Hindi ko talaga balak magpasama sa kan'ya dahil may usapan kami nila Olga, kaya lang pass na lang daw sila at sa ibang araw na lang titignan.

Excited ako makita ang achievements ko ngayon, hindi katulad ng dati. Dati kasi ay nasa kalayuan pa lang ako ng board ay halos mamatay na ako sa kaba, hindi ako bumagsak dahil nakakatakot si Mommy. Ngayon ay parang wala na lang sa akin dahil sigurado ako. Inabala ko ang sarili ko sa pag-aaral kapag free time dahil ayokong puntiryahin niya ako, madadamay ang nakaraan ko at baka madamay pa si Alcaeus kapag nagka-taon. Ginalingan ko rin talaga para payagan ako ni Mommy sa lakad namin. I'm so excited about it!

"Where do you wanna go?" Tanong ni Alcaeus nang makarating kami sa kotse.

"On our house nga. Ang kulit mo."

"That's it? No place on your mind?"

"'Di ba ipag-papaalam mo ako kay Mommy?" I diverted the topic.

"Yeah."

"Oh, e 'di sumama ka na sa akin."

Biglang lumiwanag ang mukha niya kaya ngumisi ako.

"Tapos umuwi ka na pagkatapos."

"What?"

Pinigilan ko ang aking tawa dahil sa reaksyon niya.

"Ano ang akala mo? Bati na tayo?"
