Guilt

My parents flew all the way back here because their business was already done. Mommy was so excited about me and she even wanted to see me while the team was busy arranging my things and doing their magic on my face. I didn't let her to watch me! I am hundred percent sure that she'd just mess everything up.

I looked at my reflection on the mirror but then I saw Kuya Wancho's face plastering a problematic expression. Kuya Darrel is with Mom and Dad already. Mommy warned us that we are not allowed to drink. Especially, me. The last time I tried, I felt mortified.

"She's not fucking answering her phone!"

I glanced at Kuya Wancho on the mirror but he was completely lost. He was busy fixing something. For sure, it is his relationship with Lori. Mommy paired him with Jeina Sevilla. The girl is not bad after all, it's just that Kuya's heart belongs to Lori. It will be always Lori.

Meica showed me two shades of blush.

"Ma'am, what do you think about this brownish one? It will be perfect for your gown and face but if you want this kinda reddish one, we have to change your lippies."

I shook my head and smiled.

"No, I'm fine with the brownish one. It fits on my lips."

She nodded and continued fixing my make up. I didn't break my gaze at Kuya Wancho who's now getting frustrated while he's hardly touching his phone. Natawa ako nang mahina kaya napahinto sa paglalagay ng blush on si Meica.

"Is there any problem, Ma'am?"

"Ah, no po! Just continue lang po."

Kuya Wancho didn't lift his gaze and now he's typing a whole paragraph or should I say an essay? His phone's keyboard is so ingay! Hindi niya napansin na wala pa rin siyang necktie hanggang ngayon. Lori must be giving him a hard time.

"Looks like Wancho is in trouble. He seems mad and tired," Meica stated.

"Yeah, he is. Please, just remind him about his necktie."

"Okay."

In the middle of fixing my hair, I heard Kuya Wancho explaining to someone over the phone. I peeked at his reflection on the mirror ulit but he's completely tired. Like he doesn't want to go na and just be with his girl.

I want that, too.

"I didn't say anything bad right? Why are you acting like you are so tired of my childish actions? I didn't do anything! I am trying to understand everything here because I want us to stay this way!" I heard over the phone.

My eyes went big and I saw Kuya scratching his chin and putting his tounge on side of his cheek. He was so done with her! But I get her, sino ba naman ang matutuwa na may partner na iba ang boyfriend mo, 'di ba? Kasi kung kay Alcaeus 'yon baka nagtampo na ako.

Alcaeus popped in my mind that made me search for my phone. I quickly find Alcaeus' message.

Don't sleep early, but it's your choice. After this, I'll go straight to you. I'll just stay for a while if you are already sleeping.
