I woke up at the new place, I could still hear that high pitch ringing in my ear, upstate, in a hospital bed in the hospital room. I looked across to the other side of the room and saw Pepper.

"Hey Sweetie." She said.

"I'm guessing by the hospital bed, I'm not doing too good?" I asked.

"Not the best." She said, bringing her seat closer.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked.

"About two weeks." She said.

"You're joking." I said.

I began to rant "Oh my god, Peter! What happened with Peter? Is he okay? What's happened to him is he alive—"

"Honey! He's fine. Your dad brought him round here after he defeated the vulture guy and he's stayed sat right there ever since." Pepper told me, pointing towards the empty chair next to the bed.

"Where is he now?" I asked.

"He's gone downstairs to get a drink." She said.

"Oh thank god." I said, in relief.

My dad came in.

"Hey Zanny." He said.

"Shut up." I said.

"She's definitely herself." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"So.." My dad said.

"So?" I said.

"How you feeling?" My dad asked.

"I keep hearing this high pitch ringing in my ears, it's been there since that night with the vulture guy." I told him.

"Ringing?" He asked.

"It happens sometimes when I have my breakdowns after I get scared but it's never lasted this long, usually just a few minutes." I told him.

"U wanna get a checkup for it?" He asked.

"No, I'm probably overthinking it, don't worry." I said.

"Listen. I owe you an apology.." he said.

"No way, is this the Anthony Stark apologising to his daughter?" I asked.

"Do not try me kid." He said.

"You apologise to Parker?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah." He said.

I saw Peter standing outside awkwardly and mimed that he should come in, he did.

"Heyyy...Mr. Stark." Peter said.

We sat there in silence for a few moments.

"Are you gonna leave then? Or..." I asked My Dad.

"Are you kicking me out of the room?" He asked.

"I gotta talk to Parker." I said.

He just walked out. Peter sat down next to me.
