Sa Tagaytay dinala ng Daddy ni Thomas si Ara. Pagkababa ni Ara nakita niya na puno ng lights yung tree nila. May mga lobo na nakatali sa mga bato. May isang path na may flower petals papunta sa isang candle lit dinner table kung saan nakatayo si Thomas sa dulo. At tumutugtog ang ‘I promise you’. Naiiyak si Ara habang naglalakad sa path. THOMAS: (hinigpitan ang pagyakap kay Ara) I love you more. (laughs)

Kumain sila Ara at Thomas habang nagkukwentuhan pagkatapos ay nahiga sila sa tabi ng puno. Nakahiga si Ara sa braso ni Thomas.

 

ARA: Thank you Sef ha

THOMAS: Kulang pa yan to show you how much I love you.

ARA: Hindi ah. Sobra sobra na to. Hiniling ko lang na magustuhan mo din ako pero sobra sobra ang binigay sa akin pabalik.

THOMAS: Hindi to Sobra Sef. Nung sinabi mong mahal mo ko di ko alam kung paano ko mapapantayan yung saya na binigay mo sa akin non. Eto yung unang beses na naramdaman kong may sobrang nagpapahalaga sa akin. Yung mga pag-aalaga mo sa akin before. Yung love mo. Kahit ilang surprises pa gawin ko hindi yon mapapantayan. And thank you for that.

ARA: (hinug si Thomas) Sana ganito na lang lagi. Sana walang nasasaktan. Sana lahat supportive katulad ng pamilya mo. Pero imposible. (umiiyak) Marami na kong nasaktan. At yung patuloy kong pagtatago sa kanila alam kong masmarami pa kong masasaktan kapag nalaman nila. Sorry Thomas. Sorry kung nadamay ka. Sorry kung pati ikaw nagsisinungaling gawa ko.

THOMAS: (umupo at iniharap si Ara sa kanya) Sef. Don’t say that. Kung meron masnasasaktan ikaw yon. Alam kong mahirap itago lahat yan. Nakikita kong sobrang nasasaktan ka. Kung pwede ko lang kunin gagawin ko. I love you Ara and I want to protect you. Everything na sinasabi nung kinanta ko I’ll do everything para matupad yon. I will be strong for you. I will be here for you till the end of the road. I will be your shelter. My time, my heart and my love it is all for you.

ARA: (hinug si Thomas) Thank you Sef. (umiiyak) Thank you.
