"God, Evelyn!" Luke ran a hand through his hair frustratedly, practically shouting, "I don't hate you. I'm in love with you!"
She got up to leave, "I-I need to go."
Evelyn started to turn the door handle when she felt a force push the door shut. His...

If there was a way to skip out of your own graduation, Evelyn would be doing so right now.
When her dad woke her up eagerly that morning, she wished she was dead.
"Come on Eve, get up. You're graduating honey," Her dad gently nudged her awake.
Upon waking, Eve burrowed herself into the warm, soft sheets. She rubbed the remainders of sleep from her eyes and gazed out at the horizon; its vivid light extended across a rosy sky.
She supposed this was something the majority of people would consider beautiful, but she found it strange, hard even, to find something so meaningful in something so every-day. It's not like the sun wouldn't rise, it had, after all, been reliably happening since the beginning of time.
So what was so special about it? She could never feel the joy from it others did, the magic that drew so many artists and photographers in, as if they had some lens or filter she'd missed out on.
"I'm up Dad," Evelyn sighed, "Thanks."
Waking up is no longer the pleasure it was.
She heard her father wake her twin brother in the room beside hers.
Guess she really had to get up now.
Evelyn stood up and slipped on a white dress, meant to be under the blue cap and gown.
The satiny material fell over her legs, tingling.
This was so much more than a robe.
It was indicative of what was to come.
She sat in front of her mirror, deciding to just apply natural makeup for the graduation instead of something fancy.
Trying fancy things usually end up failing for Evelyn anyways.
Stepping out of the room, Evelyn trudged down the hall, dragging her feet behind her. Michael already stood there with their dad, talking and laughing about something.
They noticed her presence, her dad smiling widely at his daughter.
"Beautiful," He pressed a kiss to his daughter's head, "Come, let me take a picture of you two."
Evelyn glanced over to Michael, an awkward look present over her face.
She may have forgiven him, but they weren't necessarily back to normal.
