oh to be a mic in the hands of luke hemmings.
ANYWAYS, back to our regularly scheduled productionEverything is annoying.
The sound of the birds chirping is annoying, the video game that they're playing is annoying, Ashton's ridiculously long hair is annoying, Michael's accidental elbowing her in the knee is annoying, Calum's sassiness is annoying, and also life.
Life is annoying.
But most of all, Luke. Luke is the most annoying. Everything about him made her want to kill herself.
Or him. Or both.
She just hated him so much, it was unreal.
It all started when Evelyn came to by the sound of Michael and Ashton laughing. When she opened her eyes she found herself face to face with her brother who, this early in the morning was the last person she wanted to see.
She threw her pillow over her mouth and screamed into it, annoyed by her brother and Ashton who was elbowing her.
"Go away," Evelyn muttered into the pillow as Ashton burst out laughing at her tone. Sitting up, Evelyn punched him in the arm, turning his laughter into pain. Finally, she drove them both away.
She lifted herself off the bed and planted her tiny, cold feet onto the wooden floor, sighing as she slowly walked her way down to the kitchen.
Interrupting her was a noisy, piercing ringing of the front door. She groaned and covered her ears as she turned to the door instead, opening it without looking through the peephole again.
Evelyn squinted at the bright sun outside. And just to make her morning worse, Luke was standing at the door with his arm up against the frame, acting as if he was waiting there forever.
His bicep tensed as he gripped the frame harder. Of course, it was her.
She took a moment to glance at his outfit; he was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt with black skinny jeans. His blond hair was tousled up as he played with the lip ring he had on his lip.
When he saw it was Evelyn, he rolled his eyes and sighed before adjusting the bag on his shoulder.
"Morning princess, how's that beauty sleep treating you?" Luke smirked as he walked past her into the house.
Evelyn groaned a loud, audible sound as she closed the door and hit the front door with her head. The banging sound her head made continued until it started to hurt.
Seeing him in the morning just completely ruined the rest of her day. He was a solid weight on her shoulders that only could be lifted when he left.
Unfortunately, he was always around.
Evelyn went to her room to avoid Luke, locking the door and getting dressed for school. She wore a black tank top with a pair of thick, baby blue sweatpants.
She put on the high heel boots that weren't too high but enough to get her a few inches in height closer to everyone else around her.
It wasn't her fault she got the short genes. It did not even really make sense that she was so short, compared to the others in her family.
Just then, she heard a knock on her room door. She opened it to see her dad tiredly smiling at her.
Evelyn smiled and hugged him, kissing him on the cheek. He had such a rough life, and she made sure to make him happy whenever she can.
"What's up Dad, do you need something?" She fixed her hair in the mirror as he walked in, sitting on her bed. When he didn't answer, she paused her actions.
