Evelyn didn't get to see Luke on Saturday, someone she was suddenly addicted to seeing. Perhaps for the better, she needed time to think.

About Luke, Michael, and Patrick.

Her boyfriend was non stop calling her, something she hated. Especially considering their last interaction.

She shivered at the thought of his hands on her again. Evelyn took a breath, sliding on the outfit Michael had picked out for her.

Of course.

Evelyn trudged down the hall towards the kitchen. She was about to make the turn towards the eating area when the door rang.

"I'll get it Mike."

She turned to the door, unlocking it and pulling hard on the door. Evelyn pulled too hard and was pushed with the impact, about to fall to the side.

Just then, a large hand grabbed her, the strong grip holding her in place. She was pulled into a strong chest as she looked up to the face.

Luke.

She placed her hands on his chest to stop herself from colliding, her half leaning away from him because of the impact.

"Be careful Eve," Luke smirked.

Her breath left her as she realized he was holding the door frame above him.

His muscles were tight against the black sleeves of the shirt. His hand wrapped even tighter against her waist, pulling her further in.

He glanced up behind her to make sure nobody was near the two. The scene would be curious.

His thumb slipped under her shirt momentarily as he released the grip. Luke hovered his hand down her back, his finger grazing over the back pocket. She jolted from the contact as he smirked.

Finally he slipped the hand down back to his side.

Wow. He was so, so hot.

"Thanks," She whispered, straightening herself out, "I'm so clumsy."

"We know," he teased.

Luke smiled at her, straightening up and pulling something from behind his back. She looked at him and to the box in his hands, the colors familiar to her.

"Lucky Charms!"

That was so thoughtful of him; he got her the thing she loved the most. Without her asking, without her needing it.

Her eyes softened far more as she took the box from him, running her thumb over the edge.

Luke's face tinted red as he tried to hide it.

Evelyn leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, something that Luke reveled in.

"Thank you Luke." Her whole childhood in a box, and he gave it to her.

"No problem princess."

"Hey Eve," Michael's voice called out, "Who's at the door?"

Evelyn quickly took her box of Lucky Charms to her room, as she wouldn't be able to explain why Luke had gotten her one.

She ran back to the door, closing it shut behind Luke and following him into the kitchen. Evelyn tried to keep her face calm, casually walking in as if nothing had happened.
