She may be the youngest, but she'd be damned if she's the weakest.
Brynn Mikaelson doesn't want much out of life. She spends her days in New Orleans with her best friends and stays out of the way of her older siblings.
But when she gets called to...
✨ "the moral of this story is that no matter how much we try, no matter how much we want it. . . Some stories just don't have a happy ending"✨

They were in the Salvatore house, getting ready to talk about the events that happened in London.
Damon wanted to make her comfortable, so instead of sitting in the parlor, he took Brynn upstairs in his bedroom. For once a girl was in his bedroom and he wasn't planning on having sex with her.
Yeah, it surprised him, too. But it was always different with Brynn, and whatever happened to her was more important than personal pleasure.
But Brynn did look good sitting on his bed. Imagine how'd she look if she was laying down naked-
"I'm not sure I want to do this, Damon." He looks up, watching as Brynn glances everywhere around the room, as if she's taking in every single detail. He knew she was just trying to avoid his gaze.
He's never seen her so. . . Vulnerable. Even when they were in Denver and she had a panic attack, it didn't look as bad as this. He could comfort her then; he knew why she was upset. But now. . . He had no idea what happened to her down there.
If he knew, maybe he's been able to offer her some sort of support.
"Do you. . . Do you need to talk to someone else? Elena?" He pauses, not wanting to say his name but he would have to swallow his pride. He'd do anything, including taking a hit to his ego, if he could help Brynn come to peace with her past. "Or Stefan?"
That made Brynn look up. "You'd be willing to do that? Let me talk to Stefan instead of you?"
He didn't like it, but he would accept it as long as it helped her.
He crosses his arms, trying to look all tough and mighty. "If that's what it takes. You don't need to keep it all inside because one day it's all going to explode out. Trust me."
She sighs, looking down at her nails. "It was nighttime and I was watching the stars."
Yes. Damon felt so relieved that she was opening up. He could cry. He walks over to the other side of the bed and sits down, waiting for her to continue.
"I was always fascinated with outer space. I liked the idea of being able to see everything happening but not be a part of it, just like the stars. But what I didn't realize was that someone snuck up behind me and it was too late to do anything about it at that point.
"He took me and had a witch cast an invisible barrier spell in the basement so I couldn't get out."
She stops, hesitating to tell him the rest. She already opened up a little bit, and she thought that was enough.
