She may be the youngest, but she'd be damned if she's the weakest.
Brynn Mikaelson doesn't want much out of life. She spends her days in New Orleans with her best friends and stays out of the way of her older siblings.
But when she gets called to...

Damon and Stefan didn't know what to say. They felt the pain Brynn had felt when she told them how relying on blood was too much to risk. She wanted to be in control of herself, even as a vampire.
Stefan was jealous. When she looked at a human she didn't feel like tearing into their skin and not stopping until their lifeless body dropped to the ground. Brynn had control. Which was the one thing Stefan strives to have.
"But I have to say, Rebekah had mentioned that both of you seemed to be a lot more exciting in the 20s. What happened?"
Damon bumps Brynn. "Don't rile him up. He's testy when he's being self righteous."
"I'm not being self-righteous, Damon. I'm just not interested in slaughtering innocent human beings anymore." Stefan says.
"Oh, okay, fair enough. My mistake. You used to be self-righteous." Damon pulls out a journal and begins to read from it. "Dear diary, Damon has lost his way, though I have pulled my own life together he continues to waste his."
"You're reading his diary?! I want to see!" Brynn jumps up and snatched the book from Damon.
She begins reading. Damn. "Ouch. His bitterness consumes him. He is nothing but blackness and vile. Oh, well aren't you just full of feelings!"
"Well, this is fun." Stefan says causing Brynn to let out a laugh.
Both Salvatores freeze, looking at Brynn. Stefan was surprised, he hadn't seen his friend laugh in so very long. Damon, on the other hand, was in awe. There was the same very laugh that had haunted his dreams ever since her and Katherine had left his life. The small snort she let out when she was laughing was still there. Her head still hung back, showing off her defined jawline and her adorable dimples.
She was. . . Perfect.
Brynn, noticing the attention she was getting, immediately stops laughing. It was like a flip switched and she was another person.
Damon already missed her laugh.
"You know, if I'm being honest you aren't that much fun either, Damon." She breaks them out of their trance.
Damon takes a swing of his bourbon. "I wasn't. The woman I was in love with was stuck in a tomb and she wasn't getting out for a hundred years. I wasn't having any fun at all."
Well then. Guess there's her answer.
Damon takes a quick glance at Brynn, wanting to see how she'd react. The little widening of her eyes was such a little reaction that if Damon wasn't looking for it, he wouldn't have seen it. But he was and he did.
He smirks, satisfied and continues on with the story.
Brynn rolls her eyes while hearing about Sage's antics.
