She may be the youngest, but she'd be damned if she's the weakest.
Brynn Mikaelson doesn't want much out of life. She spends her days in New Orleans with her best friends and stays out of the way of her older siblings.
But when she gets called to...
Authors note : there is absolutely no reason for me to be updating this late. I am so, so sorry. I wish I had an excuse, but unfortunately I don't. I know some of you forgot this book already, and I don't blame you one bit! Again, super duper sorry for the wait!
Oh, and I'm reading back over my stuff and there are obviously very many past and present tense changes, which I will be working on!
Thanks for y'all's support! ❤️

"You're seriously still mad?"
"Yep."
"Come on, Brynn! I did it for you!"
"No, you did it for yourself. You let your insecurities cloud your judgment and that's why we're in this mess."
Poor Stefan. He probably thought they are insane. Or maybe not, because his problems with Elena triumph any problem Brynn and Damon have.
After Elena and Rebekah stole Damon's car, Damon and Brynn had to wait for Stefan to come and pick them up, which took hours.
Brynn contemplated at least running a few towns over, but even an Original could get tired. And she wasn't in any condition to be running with her leather studded boots; if those babies got so much as a scratch, Damon would face her wrath.
Now they are walking down the streets of this small town they followed Elena and Rebekah to. And Brynn does not have the mental stability to fight with Damon and look for the soon-to-be-dead doppelgänger.
"No, it was not. Excuse me if I'm not comfortable with letting my girlfriend reconnect with her fiancé."
"God, Damon. Ex fiancé! I thought he was dead for a decade! So excuseme if I wanted to see someone who was a very important part of my life!"
Damon sighs, running his hand across his face in frustration. "Brynn-"
"You know what?" Brynn mentally prayed and thanked God for this convenient way to get the hell away from Damon. "I'm hungry. Y'all keep looking."
"And what will you do?" Stefan asks, raising an eyebrow as he looks between Brynn and the diner she was inching towards. "Eat your feelings?"
"Exactly." She looks away from Stefan, narrowing her eyes at her boyfriend. "I need time."
Damon's heart nearly stops. Surely she can't be saying what he thinks she is saying. . . Right? "Time? For what?"
Brynn glances at Stefan, sending a look to him that he immediately understands.
He coughs, pointing him thumb over his shoulder. "I'll meet you guys over there when you're done." He practically runs away, so not wanting to be around Damon when Brynn chews him out.
