She may be the youngest, but she'd be damned if she's the weakest.
Brynn Mikaelson doesn't want much out of life. She spends her days in New Orleans with her best friends and stays out of the way of her older siblings.
But when she gets called to...

Brynn is glowing. Not literally, of course, but she might as well be.
As soon as she walked out of the tent, everyone knew something had happened. Brynn was prissy and snippy with them all day yesterday, and now it is as if a switch had flipped.
She even smiled at Elena, of all people.
She didn't even let the disappearance of Jeremy effected her happy mood.
"Jeremy! Jeremy!"
"Why don't you yell louder? Maybe we haven't drawn enough attention to ourselves already."
"I'm sorry, and how are you helping?"
Okay, Jeremy may have not been able to tamper her mood, but hearing Rebekah and Elena argue just might do the trick.
"I'm stronger than you," Rebekah says like she doesn't have a care in the world, "and faster than you and I'm quite certain I can charm the islanders a lot easier than you."
Elena rolls her eyes. "Not disagreeing on the easy part."
That wakes Brynn up from her daze. "Watch it, Elena."
"Why are you defending her?" Elena asks, stepping over a fallen tree. "She slept with your boyfriend. Oh excuse me, boyfriends."
"Because I care about her. I defend the people I care about, you know, instead of turning on them when they only want to help you."
Ouch.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Elena stops walking, but Brynn, Rebekah, and Stefan keep on going, not having time for the drama Elena loved creating.
Why couldn't she just keep her mouth shut?
"It means exactly what it sounds like. You screw people over and I don't."
Elena scoffs, stalking forward until she is in front of the group, foolishly walking backwards until a small sound clicks.
And this time, not only does Brynn move forward and offer her assistance, so does Rebekah. Both originals speed over and stop the booby trap from impaling Elena.
The doppelgänger gasps, a look of relief flashing over her face.
"Thank you." She looks at both of them. "This thing would've killed me."
"I didn't do that for you." Brynn says, pushing the trap forward so they could walk by. "I did it for Damon."
"Umm. . . I'm gonna go back and check on Bonnie, see if she found anything." Elena says, glancing between the two originals.
