"Grandpa?" Daniel called. Normally when he was done playing outside his grandfather would be in the kitchen or the dining room reading his paper. He had never been in the living room reading his paper. "Why is there a kitten here?" He asked sitting on the other side of the couch, so was the lynx kitten between them. Without thinking Daniel moved his hand towards the head of the little kitten and started to pet it. It started to purr immediately without waking up.
"Can we keep it? It's all alone. Please grandpa?" Daniel asked with puppy eyes. He thought the kitten was super cute. Who wouldn't think baby animals are cute?
Edmund chuckled. It was pretty amusing when his grandson pulled faces like that "Maybe Daniel. I have to test something first." The older wizard said summoning his wand nonverbal and wandless. Once he got his wand in his hand, he did the spell.
Usually, the spell should be used by more than one person but the eldest Moore was a very strong and talented wizard. A blue light came out of his wand and once it came in contact with the lynx it started to turn slowly into a little toddler. The toddler that was presumed dead according to the paper.
Daniel watched with big eyes as the small toddler was sleeping on the couch where the kitten was just seconds ago. He was confused how someone so young was an Animagus. But those thoughts were pushed to the back of his mind. He looked at his grandfather again with, what he thought were, puppy eyes "Can we still keep her?".
Edmund looked with furrowed eyebrows at the small girl sleeping. She saw her mother die; her father is in prison. Everyone thought she was dead. Even though Voldemort was dead, yes, he wasn't scared to say the name, his followers aren't going to be happy that their leader was defeated by 2 toddlers.
The old wizard pulled down the collar of the shirt of the toddler carefully not to wake it up. Their it was, right on her colour bone, a lightning shaped scar. The boy with the shared scar was in hiding. She was not safe in the open.
"Yes Daniel. She will stay here but she might be scared. But try to be quiet, she is waking up." The old man said looking at the small girl waking up. Daniel watched with big eyes as the little girl looked frightened around with the same-looking brown eyes that he and his grandpa had.
