Aim to be clear

Chapter 16

Danny shook his head as if to let out the thoughts of everything that happened the last couple of minutes. If he kept thinking he would break right there and then but they weren't in safety yet. The black-clothed people were still inside and could come out any moment. Lynx let out an obnoxious snore which caused voices to heard from the house. 

The people inside had seen Lynx's scar in the woods. They had told their leader that they had found the girl that survived killing curse and of course that made the leader very interested. Because of Lynx her blood status, pureblood, they wanted to get the girl and train her so she would join their ranks. The people inside heard a noise outside. They looked at each other and asked the other if they would go after it.

The 3rd person, who had just casted one of the unforgivable curses on teh elderly man, went to walk towards the others. He rolled his eyes, their leader didn't exactly give him the smartest to accompany him on their mission. It wasn't finished yet, they still had to grab the girl.

"Of course we go after them! You idiots!" A deep voice scolded. The other 2 looked with big eyes, they both knew his reputation and definitely didn't want to experience it themselves.

Outside, Danny had already taken out his wand and shrunk the bags with Lynx her stuff. He crouched down to get the miniturized bags with one hand, using the other to make sure his little sister would stay on his back. How she was still sleeping was a miracle to him but it was better thta she was asleep. Once the bags were in his pockets, he was about to apparate out of there, a red coloured light came right at him. He jumped aside, his hands immediately going towards Lynx's legs which were wrapped around his waist. Daniel didn't think twice about where he disapparated.

With a loud crack he landed in a street in front of a yellow coloured house. The habitants of the terraced house looked out of their windows. The streets were lightened by the streetlamps so it was quite visible of a teenage boy with a little girl appearing out of thin air. Luckily it was already late and none of the other residents had been woken up from the loud crack. The women had first realised who had apparated in front of their house. She stepped towards her stairs as fast as she could but noticed her husband wasn't following.

"Hamish! Don't just stand there, come on!" The woman scolded her husband which had snapped him out of his haze. The man followed his wife towards downstairs. After all these years he had learned to trust his wife. Apparently it was something in her family that they figured things very easily. Once the door was open he saw the boy and recognized him almost immediately. It took him a second but it was the boy he and his wife had been babysitting since he was just a little boy. For some reason it had become less and less since he was 10. His wife, Isla, had gone toward the teenager and had just noticed the little girl sleeping on his back. 

Isla took the little girl of Danny's back, then she gently took the boy's arm and gently pulled him inside of the house. It didn't take a genius to see that the boy was barely holding it together. Meanwhile her husband had taken out his wand and putted the street lights out. They couldn't risk any nosey neighbours looking out of there windows and seeing any kinds of magic.
