Grummie watched from the inside of the tent as his friend was washing her hands violently. They started to turn red from the irritation. He watched as the expressions changed from rageful and feral to complete emotionless to distressed.
The rush of adrenaline was starting to fade away and emotion started to take its place. Unfortunately. As she kept on brutally washing her hands to get all of the blood of, tears started to roll down her cheeks.
Grummie flew on her shoulder and started to lick away the tears rolling down her cheeks.
Lynx glared at her red-stained hands, she had just killed someone. A human life was ended by her. Tears kept streaming down. They wouldn't stop! Sobbing was something she refused to do, only for that to convert into a mixture of hiccups and heavy breathing.
Her head turned swiftly as a scream was heard behind her. Another black-cloaked person stood right outside the border, gaze locked onto the head of his partner. Her dull, lifeless eyes stared to the sky.
Lynx wiped away her tears and once again transformed into her animagus form. Her paws had a pinkish aftermath of the blood she tried to wash off. Her animalistic killer instinct seeped back into her mind as she stalked towards the border.
The feline sat right in front of the protective border, staring at her foe. She was waiting for him to step forward, draw his wand. Do anything! All regret of taking a human life earlier vanished, like it had never existed in the first place. Instead the opposite replaced that feeling. She wanted the wizard in front of her to give her a reason. A reason for her to kill him. She wanted once more to feel the wet blood on her hands. The feeling of their muscles around her claws as she would scratch open their flesh. Making them feel pain like they could never had imagined.
And as fortune, or unfortune, would have it for Lynx, the wizard drew his wand and stepped forward. He was determined to find out what had beheaded his partner. unknown to him it would most likely be the last thing he would do.
The black-cloaked man stepped forward and a brown tent appeared into his sight. A miniature dragon was glancing between him and something below him. The man looked down and came eye to eye with a lynx that had a more murderous look than his commander could possibly have.
"Stupi-" before the man could have shouted the spell Lynx had tackled him and snarled loudly in his face. Once more she pushed her claws out to tear up the muscles of her victim as she revelled in his screams of agony.
But before she could continue her assault further a bright red light hit her. The animal was flung multiple meters further, smacking harshly against a tree. For a few seconds she had to fight for consciousness as she felt the beginning of a mean headache starting to form.
As it did save the wizard Lynx was attacking, all it had really done was piss her more off. a loud growl was forming in the back of her throat but disappeared uickly as she looked up to the person that had stupefied her.
Daniel Moore had his wand help up high, ready to fire a spell at any minute. Not against the wizard he had already deduced to be aprt of the group that had killed his grandfather. No, he wasn't aiming at him. He had it pointed at Lynx, Lynx Black. The little girl he had always seen as his sister. The innocent little witch, barely 14 years old, with whom he had grown up with.
Barely any moments after she'd come back from Charlie, Danny had decided to see his sister as it was a long time since he saw her. He saw how there were black-cloaked strangers but decided to see wehter the years of training had worked with Lynx and how well she was at protecting herself.
Guess she was incredibly well off. maybe a bit too.
He had seen the killer look in her eyes and the glee when her animagus form watched the head of the other witch roll away. He saw the regret as she went to wash off the blood but how fastly it would disappear for the same killer expression from before by the slightest of sounds.
Never thought he would ever feel this was but at this moment, Danny felt feel. Not fear for his sister but off. He was scared off her. The little girl he had always and will always see as his baby sister. He had no idea what she was going to do. She might even attack him!
But as easily he could see the previous expressions, only one look into her eyes he saw the panick but before he could even blink she darted into the border, straight at him.
He should cast a spell! He needed to protect him! If she was capable of killing someone before, who's to say she wouldn't do it again?
All those thoughts were running through his head but no spell was casted. His heart had broken in two as he saw her animagus form smack harshly into that tree and was incapable of moving an inch. He couldn't hurt her, even if she was going to hurt him.
The panic in her eyes stayed constant as Lynx, still in her animagus form sprinted within the tent. He heard the familiar noise of her changing back into her human form but still didn't dare to move. Wand was still up but back in his mind he knew there was no way he would use it against her
Disbelief was also evident but Danny didn't think that it was from him surprise visiting her. It was disbelief of her own actions. Disbelief of her being able to kill someone. But above all ...
Disbelief she actually liked it.
