Oprah let out a heavy sigh after a long day at work. It was the end of the day and all of the agents had already gone home, so it was just Oprah by herself, in her office as she went over a few last things before she would head home also.

Suddenly noticing how cluttered her desk was, she decided why not clean it? But she almost regretted that decision when she was going through her desk drawers and stumbled upon something that probably should've stayed hidden.

It was a delicate, gold necklace that Oprah recognized all too well, her hands almost shaking as she grasped it for the first time in years. It had been given to her by her old partner, O'donahue as a gift when she became a Ms O.

Back then, O'donahue wasn't just her partner, but also her boyfriend, which made that moment even more meaningful.

*Flashback

"I can't believe I'm gonna be a Ms O." Oprah said, sitting on the grass in the park next to her partner. It was night time, and they had both decided to go to the park to look at the stars together.

O'Donahue smiled at her, taking in her beauty. "I can believe it. If anyone deserves to be a Ms O, it's you, Opes." he told her.

She looked over at him and gave him a smile also. "Thanks, O'Donahue." she then let out a sigh that she'd been holding in. "It's kind of overwhelming though. I mean, you know we're not going to get to spend as much time together...." she trailed off, her gaze drifting to the ground.

O'Donahue shut his eyes for a moment, it was true, they weren't going to get to spend as much time with each other now. She was going to be really busy, he knew that. And he didn't know what that meant for their relationship, but he was willing to make it work. For her.

"Oprah," he said, gently lifting her chin so that she was looking him in the eyes again. "I know we may not get to hang out as much, but that doesn't mean I won't be there for you." he stated, meaning every word.

He then retrieved something small and golden from his pocket, handing it to her as he gave her a sweet smile.

Oprah's eyes widened as she quietly gasped, staring at the necklace that he placed into her hands. "O'Donahue, it's beautiful!" she reacted.

"Just like you." he smoothly replied, making her blush as he helped her to put the necklace on.

"I promise, Oprah, we're always gonna be close to each other, no matter where we are." he said just above a whisper as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I know."

*End of flashback

Oprah sighed inwardly as she shook her head, placing the piece of jewelry back into the drawer and slamming it shut. Even after that special moment in the park, as Oprah's career as a Ms O became even busier, she and O'Donahue had later mutually decided to break up, thinking that it was for the best with both of their hectic schedules. But her intention wasn't for them to stop contacting each other completely, which was basically what it came to after O'Donahue had quit the squad. And she tried not to let it show, but Oprah was missing being with him.

She couldn't believe he hadn't even bothered to call her, send a letter, anything! Sure, she hadn't either, but she was too scared that he didn't want to hear from her. Oprah distractedly finished cleaning her desk and then left, thinking about O'Donahue the whole time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, Oprah was in her office again, like usual, assigning Olive and Otto their case for the day. But even they could tell that something was on her mind.
"Ms O, are you alright?" Otto cautiously asked her.
Oprah faked a smile. "Yes, I'm fine why?" she lied.
"It seems like there's something bothering you." Olive chimed in.
"Nothing's bothering me. Now what are you waiting for? Go!" Oprah shouted at them a little louder than usual, sending them scrambling out of the office.
Picking up a juice box and sipping on it loudly, Oprah stared at the purple telephone on her desk.
Should she.... should she try to call him?
She tried to rid herself of the thought, but before she knew it, she was subconsciously opening the drawer and staring down at the necklace in it as she picked up the phone and began to dial his number.
"I'm- I'm just gonna call him." she attempted to pep talk herself as she pressed the phone to her ear.
"No need." she heard a comfortingly, yet stingingly familiar voice say to her.
She quickly looked up, seeing him standing in the doorway to her office, smiling gently at her.
Oprah froze, dropping the phone from her hand, not even caring about the clattering noise that it made when it hit her desk.
"O-O'Donahue?" she stammered, which was something she rarely did.
"Hey, Opes." O'Donahue greeted her. "It's been a long time. I've missed you." he added.
Oprah then walked up closer to him, standing right in front of him. "Then why didn't you contact me!" she yelled, hating how even though she was angry with him, she wanted to engulf him in a hug. "How dare you not call me all that time!" she yelled.
"Well, you didn't either." he pointed out defensively.
They both sighed, not even needing to explain the reasons why they hadn't called each other. They knew just by looking at each other.
"I'm sorry, Oprah. I was just scared-" O'Donahue started, but Oprah interrupted him.
"I know, O'Donahue."
O'Donahue nodded. "You still have the necklace I gave you," he said, pointing to the gold jewelry on her neck. Oprah quickly glanced down at her neck, noticing that she was in fact, wearing the necklace.
When had she put that on??
"Of course I still have it." she said, looking up at him.
Just then, Oprah reached forward and wrapped him in a warm, long awaited hug which he happily returned. O'Donahue then leaned down and kissed her gently on the cheek, making her blush like crazy.
"So, you do still love me?" she asked him.
"Never stopped, Oprah. I meant what I said all those years ago, we'll always be close with each other, no matter where we are." O'Donahue replied genuinely.
"I love you too." Oprah smiled. "Do you- do you think we could give our relationship another chance?" she hesitantly asked. She didn't know why she had the courage to actually ask that, but with him here and in person, she couldn't let him go again.
"I'd love that, Oprah." O'Donahue replied, knowing that he was secretly about to ask her that anyway.
They just stayed there hugging for a while with smiles on their faces, knowing that as long as they we're together, they were complete.
