Olympia and Otis stood in front of the TV in Olympia's living room as the latest Soundcheck song played with the lyrics displayed on the large screen. The two agents were each holding a microphone, Olympia loudly singing into hers as Otis tried his best to follow along to the lyrics. Olive and Otto were watching them in amusement from their seats on the couch.
"That was amazing!" Olympia excitedly said after they finished the song. She, Otis, Olive, and Otto were all hanging out together today, and Olympia suggested they sing karaoke. She still wasn't quite sure how she managed to convince Otis to agree to that, but here they were.
"Good job, you guys, that was awesome! Come on, Olive, let's sing Up, down, left, right!" Otto said, taking Olive's hand and pulling her up off of the couch with him as she laughed.
Olympia and Otis were now the ones sitting on the couch next to each other. "See, Otis? Isn't this fun? Singing to all of these fun songs and stuff." Olympia commented as Otis nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, it is pretty fun." he admitted, causing Olympia to smile wider.
Once Olive and Otto had sung the entire iconic Soundcheck song, they high fived each other, laughing as they plopped down on the couch next to their friends.
"Man, all of that singing sure can work up an appetite." Otto stated, causing Olive to shake her head fondly.
"I can bring some more snacks in here. How's popcorn?" Olympia checked, everyone instantly agreeing as their stomachs growled.
"I'll come with you, Olympia. I can pour some juice for us too." Olive told Olympia, the two girls dashing off into the kitchen.
Otis and Otto were still seated on the couch, just listening to 'Up, Down, left, right' play on the TV in the background, since they hadn't bothered to shut it off.
"This karaoke is pretty fun." Otto randomly commented.
"Yeah, but I kinda prefer dancing to the sings rather than singing them." Otis said.
"I love dancing to the songs too, especially Soundcheck songs. It'd be cool if we all had a dance battle to one of these songs. That'd be fun." Otto spoke. "But kinda unfair too...." he added, narrowing his eyes in thought.
"Yeah, it would be pretty unfair. We already know who would win." Otis agreed.
"Me." They both said at the same before looking at each other with narrowed eyes.
"You think you would beat me in a dance battle? I don't think so." Otto said, shaking his head a little.
"Otto, you're cool and everything, but respectfully, yeah I know I could beat you in a dance battle." Otis confidently stated.
"Respectfully, I disagree." Otto replied with a competitive grin.
After staring each other down, Otto and Otis stood up from the couch and they both had the same thing in mind.
"Looks like it's time for a dance battle." Otis said, crossing his arms as he confidently smirked.
"Bring it! You're on." Otto instantly agreed, mirroring Otis' expression.
Needless to say, the two of them were soon showing off their dance moves to the Soundcheck song that was playing.
Otto started first, doing some of his signature moves and also including an impressive turn. He pointed to Otis to indicate that it was his turn, Otis instantly springing into action. He even added in a few flips into his dance, making sure to hit every beat of the song perfectly.
The two agents went back and forth with this for several minutes, so focused on their dancing that they almost didn't realize that Olympia and Olive had walked back into the room.
"We're back with the popcorn!" Olympia beamed, holding a large, blue bowl of popcorn, while Olive was holding the small cups of juice.
"Um, what are you guys doing?" Olive inquired, giving Otis and Otto a weird look as she sat the cups down on the coffee table, Olympia sitting the popcorn there as well.
"We were having a dance battle." Otis simply explained.
"Why?" Olive cluelessly questioned. She still didn't understand their thought process behind this nonsense.
"Because Otis thinks he's the better dancer out of us, even though it's obviously me. I mean, I don't wanna brag or anything but...." Otto paused his statement to do a cool looking dance move where he spun in a circle and did a cool pose afterwards. "I'm pretty good at it." he finished.
"Well, now that Olympia and Olive are back, let's get them to decide." Otis reasoned.
"Good idea. Olive, Olympia, which of us do you think is a better dancer? Me or Otis?" Otto asked the girls.
"You're both good at it." Olympia stated as Olive nodded in agreement.
"But which one of us is better at it?" Otis pried.
"Um.... well, obviously we can't just decide right now. We have to watch you two dancing in action." Olive replied.
"Yeah, you should let us watch your dance battle, then we can properly decide." Olympia chimed in, just going along with Olive's idea.
Otis and Otto easily agreed to that, and soon, they were back to dancing, while Olympia and Olive sat on the couch, eating the popcorn while they watched them.
"So who are we gonna pick?" Olympia whispered to Olive.
"I don't know. I was trying to get out of the question entirely to be honest. I can't believe they just put us on the spot like that." Olive quietly admitted. "Let's just let them do this untill they get tired of it, then we'll call it a tie." she decided.
"Ok, I like that plan." Olympia grinned.
"And until then, we have popcorn, drinks and a free dance show to watch." Olive said as Olympia giggled in response.
Otis and Otto spent literally half an hour doing this, looking over at the girls expectantly when they were done.
"So, who do you think won?" Otis asked them.
"We've decided that it's a tie. You're both too good for us to choose." Olive quickly said, Olympia nodding vigorously in agreement.
"I guess that's fair." Otis stated.
"Yeah, we are pretty good." Otto agreed, shaking Otis' hand as a show of good sportsmanship. "But all that dancing made me hungry. Hey, where's all the popcorn?" he said, his eyes widening once he noticed the empty bowl on the coffee table.
"Oh, Olive and I kinda ate it all." Olympia reluctantly admitted with a laugh.
"Let's go make some more. And this time, you guys are coming with us. Or we might walk back into another dance battle." Olive told them as everyone chuckled.
They all headed into the kitchen to make more popcorn, laughing and talking as they made the snack, having the most fun ever just hanging out together.
