Genuine part 1 (Otis x Oona)

Olympia, Otis and Oona all walked into headquarters after a successful mission. They had just put a stop to an odd scheme that Jamie Jam was planning, which was to cover the whole town in extra sticky jam. Oona had come along to help out with a specific gadget that was needed for the mission, and she ended up being a big help. However, she noticed how Olympia and Otis seemed to be in their own little world the whole time, barely acknowledging her presence at times. But in all honesty, Oona felt that it was mostly Otis ignoring her, which hurt quite a bit since she was crushing on him pretty hard.

"Another mission accomplished!" Olympia happily exclaimed, smiling at Otis.

"Mission accomplished, partner." he replied, the two of them high fiving each other as Oona stared at them.

"What am I to you?" she randomly asked them, feeling like a third wheel at this point. It was just like yesterday when they successfully solved the slow mos problem, and then Olympia and Otis had high fived each other right in front of Oona as if she wasn't even there.

Olympia and Otis awkwardly held their hands up to Oona, offering her a high five as well, but she shook her head.

"Nevermind. It's not genuine now." Oona reacted.

Just then, Ms O walked up to them, telling them that they could have the rest of the day off, since they worked so hard with stopping Jamie Jam. Olympia and Otis headed over to the tube lobby to head home, but they stopped when they noticed that Oona was still standing over by the desks.

"Oona? You coming?" Otis asked her as he looked back at her.

"Oh, um no that's ok. Actually I think I'm gonna walk home this time." she said, faking a smile.

"Are you sure?" Olympia kindly inquired.

"Yeah, I'm totally sure. It's a really good day out and I wanna enjoy the weather and stuff." Oona fabricated, waving her hand dismissively. The truth was, she just didn't want to feel like a third wheel again and intrude on Olympia and Otis' conversations that they were sure to have on the tube ride home, despite the fact that it'd be a fairly quick ride.

"Well, ok. If you're sure." Olympia reluctantly agreed. But Otis had a different idea.

"I could walk you home, Oona. It is pretty nice outside." he offered as Oona tried to hide the blush that rose to her cheeks at that moment.

"Oh, ok. Sure. Thanks." she awkwardly reacted. She wanted to tell him that he didn't have to do that, but she just couldn't bring herself to reject him. The two of them walked together, taking in the nice weather as Oona tried to make conversation with him. But that wasn't exactly easy with how naturally reserved he was.

They ended up reaching Otis' house first, since it was closer, so Oona insisted that she could walk the rest of the way to her house by herself, not wanting to be a bother to him. It wasn't that long of a walk anyway.

As she was walking she soon saw Mr. Lighting standing around casually, completely unashamed of his tacky, lightning bolt themed outfit as usual.

"Mr. Lighting? What are you doing here?" Oona questioned him, raising her eyebrow at him in slight confusion.

"Hm? Oh, I'm just trying to think of a way to take over odd squad. Nature helps me think sometimes." he replied with a nice grin. But then a look of realization appeared on his face. "Wait.... you work for odd squad, don't you?" he asked, staring at Oona's badge.

"Yes. Yes, I do." she tugged on her lab coat, nodding.

"Aw, man! You guys have lab coats now? I just memorized how the suits look." Mr. Lighting groaned in annoyance before just shrugging. "Well, anyway, since you're already here I may as well tell you my plans about taking over odd squad. I was gonna join Jamie Jam with her sticky jam plan, but nobody told me about it in the meeting. I tell ya, those guys are always leaving me out of stuff." he animatedly ranted.

Oona sighed quietly. "I know the feeling...." she trailed off.

"You do? Your odd squad people always leave you out of stuff too? Well.... How about instead of capturing me and interrogating me, you can join me. You could help me take over odd squad." Mr. Lighting suggested as if it were the most casual thing ever. Oona was looking at him like he was crazy, but he just kept ranting about how foolproof his plan would be, and she didn't want to be rude by interrupting him so she stayed quiet and listened to his long explanation..... Which lasted hours....

Later that day, Ms O had contacted Olympia and Otis once again, calling them back to hq, since she had received a message from Mr. Lightning about his latest plan to take over odd squad, which apparently involved Oona.

Olympia and Otis were quick to arrive at headquarters, dashing into Ms O's office in record time.

"What do you mean his plan involves Oona?" Otis instantly asked Ms O in confusion and concern.

"Yeah, why would Oona have anything to do with Mr. Lightning's plan?" Olympia chimed in, standing beside Otis.

"Mr. Lightning said in his video message that Oona was going to help him with some crazy plan to take over odd squad. I was able to track his coordinates and figure out that he's at the park right now. Other than that, I know just as much as you do on this one." Ms O explained, confusing Olympia and Otis further.

"Oona? Helping an odd villain with a plan to take over the squad? That doesn't sound like Oona." Olympia said, shaking her head a little.

"Again, I know just as much as you do about this. But we don't have time for chit chat! I need you two to go to the park, find Mr. Lightning and figure out what's going on so we can stop him!" Ms O loudly replied. " Well, what are you waiting for? Go!" she yelled, sending Olympia and Otis darting out of the office and toward the tube lobby.
