Training video (Ocean x Oona)

Oona scrambled around the lab excitedly, tidying everything up as she got ready to record her first training video. Oscar had explained to her earlier all about how to do a training video and he even offered to help her film it after lunch time. But Oona wanted to surprise him by recording it all by herself, so here she was setting up the camera while everyone else was eating lunch.

This was a really big deal for Oona. She wanted to make sure that this turned out perfectly, especially since she was quite new to the squad and all, she wanted to make a good impression.

"Ok, I think I'm ready now." she said quietly to herself, glancing around the lab once more before taking a deep breath and turning the camera on.

"Howdy do, agents. Take a break, 'cause this training video's for the scientists." she spoke to the camera before winking at it. "Hi, scientists. Your lab coat can do many things...."

Oona proceeded to explain how the lab coat could change color, but she was interrupted when she heard someone enter the lab.

"Hey, dudette." she heard none other than Ocean say as he walked in.

Oona tried to ignore the blush that rose to her cheeks at that moment since she had a pretty big crush on him.

"Oh, howdy do, Ocean. What brings you here? It's still lunchtime. I figured you'd still be.... eating lunch." she rambled a bit, mentally kicking herself for how stupid that probably sounded.

"Well, everyone's in the break room for taco Tuesday, and I was wondering where you were. I know how much you love taco Tuesdays." Ocean explained. And Oona couldn't help but smile at the fact that he remembered that detail about her.

"Yeah, I do love taco Tuesdays. But, I'm kinda skipping lunch today because I'm recording my first ever training video." she told him as Ocean walked closer to see the camera.

"Whoa, that's awesome, dudette. It's gonna turn out totally cool." he commented, causing Oona to blush even more. "Well, I'll let you finish your video now. And I'll save you a taco." he said, smiling brightly at her to which she smiled in response before he left the room.

Oona couldn't help but stare at him as he walked off. "Why does he have to be so cute?" she mumbled to herself once he was out of sight.

"Stop it, Oona. He's never gonna like you back anyway." she hissed at herself, but her eyes widened when she looked over at the camera and saw that it was still recording. "Oops.... I guess I'll have to edit that out later." laughing it off nervously, she decided to just continue her training video.

After finally finishing the video, Oona was pretty proud of herself, grinning as she prepared to watch it just to make sure everything was perfect.

Just then though, agents began lining up at the lab counter to return gadgets and to have gadgets repaired. Oona made her way over to the counter to address everyone.

"Ocean?" she said, seeing Ocean standing there with a gadget he needed to return.

"Hey, dudette. I'm just here to return this grab-inator gadget." he replied. "How'd your training video turn out by the way?" he inquired curiously.

Oona sighed. "Well, I was about to watch it to make sure it turned out ok, but I can't yet because I have so much work to do now and-" she began to rant, but Ocean swiftly cut in.

"Whoa, whoa chill, dudette. It's no problem. I can watch it for you and make sure it's good." he kindly offered.

"Really? You'd do that?"

"Of course. No problem at all. Besides, I'd love to see your training video." Ocean reacted with a smile.

"Well, ok. Thanks, Ocean." Oona handed him the camera as she finally decided to accept his offer.

Ocean headed off towards the creature room as Oona once again stared as he walked off. She smiled, thinking about how nice it was of him to do this for her while she finished her lab work.

Meanwhile, in the creature room, Ocean made himself comfortable in his hammock, smiling to himself as he watched Oona's training video. He thought it was great so far and he loved watching Oona on the screen, talking about her lab coat and all the cool things it could do. But soon, Ocean saw himself enter the frame, causing him to chuckle.

"Oops, looks like Oona forgot to edit out that part where I walked in. I'll just let her know later." Ocean spoke to no one in particular, just letting the video keep playing. And that's when he heard something that surprised him.

"Ugh, why does he have to be so cute? Stop it, Oona! He's never gonna like you back anyway." Ocean's eyes widened as he watched Oona on film, indirectly admitting her secret crush on him.

"Whoa...." he trailed off to himself in shock.

Oona had finally finished all of the gadget repairs and things were slowing down now, which meant she could finally take a break to eat a snack. Just then though, Ocean entered the lab again.

"Oh hey, Ocean. Did you like the video? How was it?" Oona instantly asked him.

"It was perfect. I really liked it." Ocean reacted casually. "And by the way, I think you're cute too." he smoothly added, causing Oona's cheeks to heat up in embarrassment.

"Oh my gosh.... I forgot to edit it out, didn't I...." she trailed off, wanting the earth to swallow her at that moment. But then she realized exactly what Ocean had just said. "Wait, did you just say you think I'm cute?" she checked just to make sure, causing Ocean to chuckle.

"Yeah. I've kinda had a huge crush on you for a long time actually...." he admitted, smiling shyly at her.

Oona's face was now even redder if that was possible, and she couldn't stop herself from smiling like crazy. "Really? Wow, that's- whoa." she tripped over her words as she stared at him.

"And if I knew you liked me back, then I would've asked you out by now." he stated.

"Well, I mean, it's not too late for that." Oona replied, tugging on her lab coat with an awkward smile.

"That's true. So.... wanna go on a date with me?"

"I'd love to."

"Yes!" Ocean cheered, causing Oona to giggle. "And our first date can be lunch, right now. Since you didn't eat earlier." Ocean said, handing her the taco that he had saved her from earlier, watching as she lit up in happiness.

"You actually saved me one? Wow, thanks." she gratefully replied, already taking a bite out of the crunchy snack.

"Of course I did, dudette. Anything for you."

"But what are you gonna eat? Didn't you already have lunch?" Oona curiously asked.

"Nah, my taco's still in the fridge. I kinda saved it so I could eat with you." Ocean admitted.

"Awww." Oona reacted. And they were both a blushing mess at this point as they headed to the break room for their makeshift lunch date.
