Are you crazy?! (Olive x Otto)

A/n: Hey guys! This story was requested by Brawlstarsminercarl I hope you enjoy it! Just letting you know in advance, it's kinda long.

It was a normal day at Odd Squad. There were agents trying to round up some flying fish, Agent Orchid could be heard from across the room shouting something like 'Dinosaur crossing' as other agents walked in her direction, and there were random explosions and clattering noises coming from the lab. You know, the usual day.

Otto was sitting at his desk, tapping his pencil on edge of his desk as he bobbed his head to the music coming from the headphones that he was wearing.

He was waiting for Olive to show up since he had gotten to work just a bit earlier than her today.

Pulling his headphones off and setting them on his desk, Otto stood up to walk to the lab. He was getting quite bored without Olive, so he figured he'd go see what Oscar was up to.

"Hey, Oscar!" Otto greeted the scientist as he approached the lab counter.

"Oh, hey Otto." Oscar said, looking up from a gadget that he was working on.

"What's that?" Otto asked curiously, pointing at the gadget.

Oscar glanced down at the gadget in his hands as if he had forgotten what it looked like. "Oh, this? This is a new gadget that I'm working on. It's called the Un-obsess-inator." he explained.

Otto tilted his head to the side in slight confusion. "What's it do?" he inquired.

"Well, say you were really obsessed with something, or you really, really like something. You know, kind of like Ms O is with juice boxes." Oscar began to explain, saying the last part rather quietly, as if scared that Ms O would hear him or something. "So, the Un-obsess-inator would make you not obsessed with it anymore." Oscar finished.

"Oh...." Otto said, as he began to understand how the gadget worked.

"So, is it done? Can I test it?" Otto asked, seeming as excited as a kid on christmas morning.

Oscar shook his head "Uh nooooo no no no. It's not anywhere near done yet. It's kind of not working exactly, you know, correctly right now either." he told Otto.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you know how I said it's supposed to make you not obsessed with things? Well, it's kinda malfunctioning right now, so if you were to use it, it would most likely make you more obsessed with the stuff that you like!" Oscar dramatically stated as if it was the end of the world.

"Ok then...." Otto trailed off.

Just then, Olive arrived and walked up to the two of them.

"Hey there, partner. Hi Oscar." she greeted them, smiling.

"Hey Olive!" Otto said.

"Hey, Olive." Oscar greeted, still holding his gadget in one hand, and awkwardly tugging on his lab coat with the other.

"What's that?" Olive asked, looking down at the gadget Oscar was holding.

"Oh, this is just- whoa!" Oscar didn't finish his statement since he had managed to drop the Un-obsess-inator gadget by mistake, it ending up zapping Olive.

"Uh oh...." Oscar trailed off.

"Olive, are you ok?" Otto frantically asked in concern, walking closer to her.

Olive looked over at him with a.... crazy? look in her eyes.

"Never better!" Olive stated, instantly throwing her arms around Otto in a tight- really tight- hug.
