PSA (because yall are forgetful lmao): BEYONCE IS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH TWINS
Jasmine's POV
"Jas, Jas come on. Time to wake." I heard someone say as they shook me.
After last night's events, I was in no right frame of mind, or mood to wake up, let alone spend a whole day in school. Nope, not today. I managed to get about an hour or two of sleep, on and off, as the whole situation just shook me up completely. It felt so real, the voices, the noises, the footsteps, the pain, it was all so real and I couldn't get it out of my mind. I know everyone keeps telling me I have to let go of the past, but how can I possibly do that when the past is forever consuming me. I tried telling myself that Bey was there, and she'd keep me safe, but I don't know, something about last night told me otherwise. I could've sworn they were there, but just like last time, Dad and Bey didn't believe me.
"Jas darling, wake up." I heard again. It was Bey. I groaned and turned over, putting the pillow over my head, only for it to be snatched away seconds later.
"Bey." I whined, hearing her chuckle.
"No, come on, up now." She said. I felt the bed move slightly and thought she'd left me, so took that opportunity to close my eyes again, until I heard the curtains open, and the light shone through the long window that lead out onto the balcony.
"It's too bright." I complained, covering my face with my hands as I squinted.
"Rise and shine." She sang out, laughing slightly.
"I'd rather not."
"Wow, you really can be moody in the mornings can't you?" She chuckled, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Good morning."
"Is it?"
"Yes, yes it is. The suns shining, it's a new day." She replied as I stretched and yawned in response. "How you feeling?"
"Too tired for school."
"Did you get much sleep?"
"I don't think so. I feel like I was awake most of the night." I replied, feeling my eyes get heavy as I yawned.
"Aw poor baby." She cooed. "You know you gotta go in though."
"Do I have to?" I whined.
"Yeah, we've been through this already. Not only do you need your education, you need to get back to normal life. You can't let what happened yesterday hold your back."
"I know, and I will, just not today please." I said, pulling the cover over my head.
"Aht aht." She chuckled, pulling the cover off me. "You're still under adult supervision remember, you know you can't be with your dad, and there's nobody else to mind you, because they're all in work." She explained.
"Can't I just stay here on my own? I swear I won't do anything. You can hide everything. I'll probably just catch up on my sleep. Please Bey." I practically begged, causing her to sigh.
"Jas, no. I'm sorry."
"What if I pass out again? Or what if I'm sick. Or what if-"
"I've told you to stop living in a world of what-ifs." She told me. "I'll be there if that happens anyway."
"But-" I began but was quickly interrupted.
"No, you'll be fine. I promise. Now stop whining and get changed." She said and with a very dramatic huff, I rolled off the bed and strolled into the bathroom.
