Jasmine's POV
When we got in last night, it was around half 2 in the morning, but thankfully we all slept the journey home. Bey slept in my room last night because I simply refused to let go of her. We were just about to leave for school when Shawn came over stopping us.

"Jas wait!" He said. I turned around and he was holding a cotton swab in his hand. "Open wide."

"Wha-" I said, but he stuck the cotton swab in my mouth making me gag. "What are you doing?"

"For the DNA test." He replied.

"Oh, yeah." I said. The more I thought about it, the more I thought why didn't he believe me? But then I also thought he was right with what he said, they don't know me, for all anyone knows I could've been making this up.

"Aight, I'll send this off on my way to work." He said and I nodded. "Have fun at school, see yall later."

"Bye." Me and Blue said, while Bey kissed him goodbye.

"Ew." Blue said making me laugh. "Jasmine, why did daddy put a cotton swab in your mouth?"

"He's just doing some science project." I replied with the first thing that came to mind. Blue doesn't know about any of this yet.

"Oh, but I wanna be in his science project."

"I'm sure he'll ask you another time."

"I can be in your science project instead?"

"Oh, I don't have any yet..." I replied, laughing slightly.

"Well when you next do, I can help. I'm good at science aren't I, Mommy"

"Yes Blue, you are very good at science. Now come on or you'll be late." Bey said, ushering us out the kitchen.

"I don't care if I'm late." Blue mumbled.

"But I will." Bey replied.

"But mommy, I'm tired."

"Should've slept on the plane like I told you to then, instead of messing around with Daddy's phone." Damn who put Bey in a bad mood.

"She's annoying when she's like this." Blue whispered when we got in the car.

"I can tell." I chuckled.

"Good luck in school is all I'll say. This mood could last months, maybe even years."

"Noted." I laughed again. "Why's she like this today?" I asked, but before Blue could reply, Bey got in the car.

"Mommy, Jasmine wants to know why you're in a bad mood?" Blue said.

"Does she now?" Bey replied. Thanks for that Blue.

"Nooo, I'm good." I replied. Bey nodded, glancing back at us in the mirror, before pulling out of the drive and towards Blue's school.

"Bye Jasmine!" Blue said, hopping out of the car as I waved goodbye. Bey took her in while I climbed through to the front passenger seat.

"How'd you get there?" Bey asked, getting back in the car.

"I climbed through."

"Right, there better not be no shoe marks in my car." She said. Jeeeez.

"There isn't." I replied, tapping my fingers on the door handle as she pulled off.

"Sorry about Shawn being so forward with this whole DNA test stuff." She said. "When he's on a mission, he's on a mission."
