Beyoncé's pov
"Okay, thanks Michelle, see you later." I said before hanging up the phone. It was currently lunch break and I'd just booked Jasmine in to be examined at the doctors, by one of my close friends, Michelle. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, I looked up seeing Nicki and smiled at her, signalling her to come in. "Hey Nicki."
"Hey, just thought I'd come and check how your meeting went with Jasmine?" She said, sitting on one of the tables.
"I'm not even sure myself." I said, and she raised her eyebrow. "She's gonna report them, take them to court, but she's saying she wants to warn the drug dealer she worked for. Obviously it's good she's even reporting them but, Shawn said if he forms a story it could put her in a bad light."
"Ah, that's true. But I suppose if Shawn agreed in the end, he must know what he's doing. Where's she staying then?"
"She's gonna keep staying with us, for now anyway."
"OH! Never thought I'd see that day." She laughed.
"I know, and she had the nerve to tell me to stay off her back." I replied, laughing. "I'm gonna take her to the doctors, to see Michelle after school. Make sure everything's alright you know."
"Oh definitely. Well at least you can keep an eye on her. Keep her on track kinda thing." She mentioned. "What about school work and stuff."
"I'll give it a few days, let things settle before bringing that up. She's still got that lesson she missed yesterday with her friends after school today so if she doesn't start picking things up..."
"Mama B will intervene." She said making us laugh.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. She ain't about to get a free ticket from me."
"I wouldn't have thought any different." She said before the bell went. 2 hours to go.
Jasmine's pov
"So what's happening now? You're staying with her?" Jordyn asked.
"Yeah, for now. Yall should know nothing is ever permanent with me."
"God, I hope she doesn't take you from us." Nathan joked.
"Take me?" I said letting out a laugh as we walked into math class.
"You know what I mean." He said as we sat down.
"She'll never convert me."
"She won't have the chance." Jordyn said laughing.
"Sit down quietly please." Our math teacher said.
"We've got that lesson with Miss Maraj after school haven't we?" Nathan asked.
"Fuck, I forgot about that." I said.
"Can't you get Mrs Carter to get us out of it? I doubt Mellisa would've remembered." Jordyn asked.
"I highly doubt that. If anything she'll want us to go more now." I said sighing. "Text Mellisa, make sure she comes." I said, as she wasn't in our class for math.
"Will do." Nathan whispered as the lesson began. 2 hours later and the bell had rung signalling the end of the day, well for some anyway.
"You three, please stop all the talking in future." Our math teacher said as we made our way out the room. I'd been 'told off' 4 times in the 2 hour lesson, what can I say? I've got a lot to speak about.
"There she is." Jordyn said, pointing over to Mellisa.
"Jeez, thanks for reminding me. Thought I'd got out of that." She said.
