Beyoncé's POV

"Jasmine, I wont tell you again, get up and get ready." I said walking into her room for the 5th time this morning.

"But-"

"No buts, just do it." I told her, pulling her covers off her while she groaned. "Come on, you'll be late."

"5 more minutes please."

"No, 5 more minutes turns into 10, which will turn into 20. It's Friday, just one more day and it's the weekend."

"But I don't feel like going in today." She yawned. She had a bad night last night, Blue came and got us at one point because she kept waking her up.

"I know, but you can't be missing another day. Come on, please."

"Fine." She sighed, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Good girl, -"

"I'm not a dog Bey." She said and I chuckled.

"Whatever, imma be back in a bit. Make sure you're ready." I said, standing up off her bed and walking out her room, before stopping midway in the hall. "Jasmine! I mean it, up now!" I called back, knowing she'd be fighting off sleep now.

"Good morning baby." I said, feeling two little arms around my neck.

"Morning mommy." Blue said as I turned to face her after putting my last heel on.

"You ready for your talent show?"

"I'm a little nervous, but Jas said I'll win so..."

"Of course, but if you don't -" I began but she interrupted me.

"But I will." She insisted.

"But if you don't, you'll always be our winner." I said referring to myself and Shawn.

"Well that's a given." She said in a duh tone making me laugh. "Can I wear my sparkly dress?"

"The black one?"

"No the red one grandma Gloria got me. She won't be there to watch me so I want daddy to film me."

"I suppose, grandma and grandpa Richard will bring it with them okay."

"With my red shoes." She said.

"With your red shoes." I repeated, making a mental note to text my mom. "Go get your breakfast, daddy's down there."

"What about you?" She said. Damn are my children obsessed with me? My children.

"I'll be down soon. I gotta get ready myself." I told her and she nodded before skipping out the room. When I was ready I made my way back to Jasmine's room, to make sure she wasn't sleeping.

"I'm up, I'm up!" She said, shooting up from her bed, half ready.

"Mmhm." I said, eyeing her from the doorway. "Get ready. You got 5 minutes."

"5 minutes? That's not long enough."

"4 now. Be quick." I said laughing slightly before heading downstairs and towards the kitchen.

"Mommy will be there baby." I heard Shawn say as I walked in the kitchen.

"I'll be where?" I questioned.

"Daddy's too busy to watch my talent show." Blue huffed.

"No, I said I might be a bit late."

"But what if I'm first and you miss me." She argued.
