Soleil have seen a lot of things in his life from his time back in Scotia and the horrors that he had seen and participated in; from his time roaming aimlessly on Earth, and becoming a silent witness on how creatures destroy one another out of survival, power and greed. And during those times he had seen a lot of shocking things and event that he become immune to it. Nothing faze him or surprise him, not until now.

He stood in shocked silence when right before his eyes, his mate whose stomach turns at the sight and scent of blood -human blood to be exact and her own; who hated fight and violence; and who he never thought of as a violent creature erupted in a frenzy of shrieks, nails and fists as she attacked Thallan, scratching and gouging his face and neck with her fingers, and battering his chest with her small fists.

He still couldn't comprehend what he was seeing, and on why Thallan just stood there stock-still, making no effort on protecting himself from Elisha's attack not that he would let him hurt his mate.

Then he snap out of his confused stupor when he saw that Elisha drew blood from scratching Thallan's face. The demon might not retaliate on Elisha but blood might incite him to snap and defend himself.

Wounding his arm around his mate's waist, he pulled her off him as he put some distance between Thallan and his struggling mate but trying to keep his hold on Elisha was like trying to control an enraged tigress. She was clawing his arms to escape from him while throwing off waves after waves of anger and hatred that he can feel himself suffocating from it.

"How... Dare you!!." He managed to hear her words that was somewhat merged between a shriek and a roar, her eyes were murderous and fiery.

"Elisha." Soleil whispered soothingly as he fought to keep Elisha in his arms. "Please calm down."

"Leave.. You monster.." Elisha continued to fight to free herself. There was a wildness in her eyes that was directed to Thallan. The same wildness one can find in the eyes of a wild animal bent and madden to protect its mate.

Weird and bizarre as it maybe, Soleil was turned on by the violence in Elisha's body and the murderous fire in her eyes. The Fomorians thrived in destruction and in cruelty. Being imprisoned in their land made them volatilely violent and dangerous creatures until Tuatha arrived to show and teach them on how to control their vicious nature and how to harness their power. Soleil was not around to learn the knowledge that the Tuatha imparted to the rest of the Fomorians but solitude forced him to control himself and to cage the monster in him.

But the appreciation to violence and brutality were instinctive to any Fomorians especially to the males and warriors, and Soleil was a male and a warrior. He can feel what Elisha feels and his body hums in excitement.

"Elisha." Soleil said sharply in a tone meant to attract Elisha's attention. No matter how much he relish what he felt in his mate, he won't let her hurt or endanger herself. "Calm down!" But Elisha continued to struggle, her nails digging and gouging into his arms.

"Elisha stop!" He snapped at her, wounding both of his arms around her as he pinned her arms on her sides, and something dangerous flared inside of him. He didn't know if its lust, desire, or the anger that Elisha passed on him but it grew more and more as she struggles in his arms. He had to stop her before she harms herself or he accidentally hurt her.

"Elisha Stop!" He hissed, inserting authority and dominance on his voice that no one especially his mate could ignore, and he emphasized it by nipping at her neck and growling lowly at her, and he immediately have what he wanted as Elisha went quiet but he didn't like the way that Elisha had flinched and cowered from him. "Please. Stop." The thought of her being afraid of him filled him with remorse.
