RECAP:
Meanwhile, Illia paced angrily at the room she shared with Thallan. She couldn’t believe that after Fuxal left Thallan would leave her as well but what truly made her furious was that Thallan left right after the ban that his summoner placed on him was lifted and add to that was the fact that she couldn’t follow after him because it’s still daylight in the Mortal realm.
But she will wait until sunset and when nightfall comes, a certain human will pay with her life..
************
Illia plan of eliminating Elisha that night was thwarted when she found out that Thallan, her mate started to jealously guard the mortal girl. He acts like more like an obsessively possessive mate to that girl than to her.
Her dwindling supply of potion might have caused Thallan’s diminishing attention to her and if it continues, he will be able to see through her charade and she will lose him forever.
I already sacrificed a lot just to be where I am today and I won’t let a puny mortal to destroy everything that I have done.
Using a cloak of invisibility that she got along with her vials of potion, she went to spy on her mate and learned that he was acting like a sentinel to her, guarding her by day and by night, and he never once left her side, making it hard for her to sneakily kill the human.
But what galls her most was that he was constantly on and in her, acting like a rutting weasel in the heat of a breeding frenzy, and the mortal act much like of bitch in heat, accepting his demands without protest.
She should be the object of Thallan’s obsession and attention and if not for that human, she and Thallan would be fully mated by now.
I must find a way to distract Thallan enough to make him leave her side for a minute or two and when my time comes I shall relish killing that human with my own hands.

“Thallan, leave me alone. You’re suffocating me. God! You’re smothering me to death.” Elisha placed her hands infront of her to ward off Thallan as the latter advances towards her with a hungry glint on his eyes.
“Get off me! Goodness, haven’t you got enough!” She pushed at his chest as he mauled her.
Yes! He’s mauling her like a hungry lion – a lusty lion.
Thallan rolled off her, laughing hard at her blushing cheeks and annoyed expression.
“Don’t laugh at me. If you have nothing better to do, help me pack my things. We’re going back to England.” Elisha huffed as she straightens her clothes.
“Why?” Thallan asked as he propped himself on his elbow to watch her running to and fro to collect her stuff.
“I’m finally out of my necessary exile and I'm going back to England. Are you coming with me or not?” Elisha asked. She already called her Uncle about her decision and he gave his permission to let her back on public eyes.
