Soleil carefully eased a sleeping Elisha down on the soft grass, brushing a tender kiss on her forehead as she sigh in her sleep. He was insatiable and demanding on her but she matched him well.
Unable to resist the urge to touch her, he feathered a finger on her lips, tracing it down on her neck and lingering on the bite-mark on her neck then slowly down to her hips.
He faltered slightly when he encountered a set of oval marks, perfect copies of his fingers on pale skin of her hips. There was a similar set on her other side, marks of his uncontrolled passion where he had gripped her hard. He didn’t mean to mar her skin with bruises but the berserker in him made him lose control over his baser instincts.

Kissing the set nearest to him while caressing the other, he watched as Elisha fidgets in response, her body sensed him even if her mind was deeply asleep. He then sat back on his haunches, his palm flat on the slight swell of Elisha's lower belly, enjoying the softness of her skin against his calloused hand.
His mate was right, they were truly created to compliment and complete each other like a one of a kind pieces of puzzle that only fits one another.
Nature was truly a great artist when she designed a male and a female's body.
His focus went back to the delectable swell of Elisha's stomach, a particular part of her body that he'd been obsessing with and once again cupped his large hand over it.

An obscene side of him loved that area because of its feminine softness and that it cushioned his hips as he thrust in her but a deeper instinct in him treasure that spot because he had hope that someday their child will flourish inside her, protected and surrounded by her soft flesh.
Smiling wistfully at his last thought, Soleil laid one last kiss on Elisha's belly and he went rigid as his eyes glazed over.

A gift given to a chosen few was bestowed on him on that very moment, a rare glimpse of the future.
A vision of Elisha ripe and swollen with his child, their child, and a special glow that only pregnant women can have surrounding her like a bubble.

Soleil's chest was ready to burst with emotions that he can’t name as he splayed his hand over her stomach. A child, their child created from their mating.
Did they created that precious life right here in Eden?

Excitement and protectiveness surge on him as he took a deep analyzing breathe, only to discover that Elisha was not pregnant but it didn't dampen his excitement.
Someday.. Someday.. He thought wistfully.

He felt Elisha shifting and found her propped up on her elbows, watching him.
“What’s wrong, Soleil?” She asked, worry painting her tone.
Soleil crawled over her body until he they were face to face.
“Nothing's wrong. Everything is perfect.. So perfect."

Man.
Warrior.
Fomorian and berserker was humbled by the gift granted to him both the vision and that life they will someday create together.
He decided not to tell Elisha what he had seen. She will know about the child when the time comes.

“So perfect." He placed a soft kiss on her lips, pressing her body back down, and Elisha was looking up on him with trust as he hover over her.

Their child. The first Fomorian to be born since his own birth.
Soleil couldn’t stop the grin on his face.
His clan, his people was not doomed to extinction afterall.

Elisha opened her arms to him and Soleil gladly went to her and he made a slow, tender love to his mate, pouring the love, the gladness and the fierce protectiveness he felt right now in her.

Elisha woke up with a start on her mate's arms, she didn’t know exactly what woke her up but a sense of foreboding came to her.

“Shhh...” Soleil murmured reassuringly on her hair yet she can feel the tenseness of his body on her back. Then the ground began to shake, creating ripples on the water.
“Eden?” Elisha asked, wondering if it’s Eden’s way of telling them to leave. There was no sense of time in this place. There were no sun or moon and even night. Eden was in an eternal day.
