"Fomoire were the opposite of Tuatha. We destroy, they fix. We wound, they heal.
We once warred with Tuatha, senselessly killing countless of them when they arrived in our land in peace. I’m guilty of killing thousands –no countless of Tuatha and more other creature before them, Elisha. I even lead a group of Fomoire on a slaughter raid to chase them out of our land.
I murder your kind, your ancestors."
Elisha stared wide-eyed at Soleil’s admission but she couldn’t work her mind around what Soleil had told her. He murdered her kind. He kill Tuatha De Danaans. WHY?
“I don’t understand..” Elisha stare long and hard at Soleil's now passive face, trying to compare him to a killer that he was trying to portray to himself.
She knew that Soleil was a powerful being, that fact was evident on the unconscious way that he confidently move around as if he knew that no one was powerful enough to touch or hurt him and on the danger that seems to cloak him like a second skin. Add to that was the hint of darkness that she felt oozing from him.
But other than that her mind find it impossible to compare him to a destructive creature.
How can someone who had tenderly made love to her hours ago be capable of killing countless of life without any reason at all?
She will never believe the he was creature that had maimed and killed when he healed and saved her from death.
No! Her mind couldn’t and will not accept Soleil as a creature of evil.
"Why? Why your tribe did such thing? Why you? Mae me understand, Soleil"
The light on Soleil's eyes disappeared, giving him a blank, faraway look as if he was in another place, in another time, and watching an event unfolding eons of time ago.
"Scotia was land untouched and inhabited by no one but us, The Fomoire and with powers bestowed upon us we lived like gods within our land, ruled by no one but our whims.
That power gave us the sickening ability to create and destroy everything and anything but in exchange to that power we were landlocked to Scotia, Scotland, unable to travel away and were virtual prisoner by our land.
Do you know what a tribe of powerful beings –demigods will do with the infinite time they have especially when they were trapped in their land?
We –I make our own diversion from boredom; create anything and have fun on destroying it. The more beautiful and hard it was to create the creation, the more fun we got on its destruction.
The game soon lost its purpose of amusing us until...
Until beings seeking a new place live arrived in our land only to meet their deaths.
