Elisha looked at the huge hand that was currently clasping her hand in a dead grip and she resists the urge to laugh at her mate's pale face. The great and powerful Fomorian warrior who fears nothing is afraid of flying or maybe just their way of flying; the human way.
Soleil decided that it would be safer if they should travel in a more conventional way than using his power to transport the three of them to their destination to avoid detection to whatever creatures were there roaming in the hospital where her Uncle was confined, and they all agreed to him.
But by the look on Soleil's face as he leaned back on his chair with his eyes closed, Elisha bet that he was currently cursing his idea of the flying death trap as what he called to the airplane where they were currently flying in, and Karylla who was sitting beside her was not faring well
Elisha managed to acquire forged documents for Soleil and Karylla, a perk that being a Falcon and having money can easily give, and they were flying first class with Soleil as her fiancé and Karylla as his younger sister. Adding to that was that they decided to hide their Fomorian features with the ability that they called Masking, wherein they effectively cover their skin markings from human sight. So to anyone that can see them, they were just plane passengers that have an exotic platinum hair and grey eyes.
"I will never ride this contraption ever again." Soleil muttered when they hit a slight turbulence, slightly shaking the plane, and Elisha smiled inwardly.
"I second that. You have to kill me before you can ever force in here again." Karylla groaned out as she restlessly shifts on her seat.
"I'm transporting us back after this. Ragnarok be damned." Soleil gritted, his hand tightening around Elisha's when the plane dips down.
"Soleil." Elisha hissed, looking at the passenger nearest them and she sighed in relief when she found the businessman asleep. No one might know what Ragnarok really was but saying it out loud might attrack some attention.
And so their flight continues in silence with Soleil squeezing her hand or flinching once a while whenever the plane vibrated or made some noise.
Fear, worry and nervousness filled her as they come nearer and nearer to their destination. Even Soleil and Karylla become more alert and agitated.
What would they see?
How will the supernatural beings react to their arrival?
Can they cure her uncle or will Soleil and Karylla help him?
Will she be able to see those creatures that lived and thrive at the bottom of the Underworld?
With her Heart drumming with anxiety, Elisha exited the airport along with Soleil who was glued at her side and with Karylla who walked like their second shadow.
Everything looks, feels and sounds normal to her. Humanity were walking and running to and fro with their agendas in mind. Families, businessmen, tourists and people were scattered everywhere, their attention either on the screen announcing their flight or the arrival of someone they knew or on their baggage as they check in or out.
Cars were arriving and departing in an endless train of smoke and metal.
It looks, feels, and sounds like any ordinary day, humanity truly unaware and ignorant of the war and death happening right underneath their noses.
Yet even to Elisha, everything was as it should be. She was prepared to witness something out of horror movies and nightmares but there was nothing for her to see.
But for Soleil and Karylla, things were the opposite of Elisha's. As their senses were more advance than hers and they can clearly saw what Elisha couldn't in which both Fomorians were grateful as it will surely terrify her out of her mind.
