"I freaking hate him Manong Herbert!"
I frowned and reclined on my chair, still pissed because of the arrogant Sibal, gosh I've never been so pissed my whole school year, he already had this power over me, nakaka-inis! Manong Herbert just beamed and shook his head, he started to drive our way home and I was just breathing ruggedly.
"Mukhang malala nga 'yan, 'nak, ah.. Hindi ka naman naiinis sa kahit kanino e," I blew my cheeks and crossed my arms, I know kaya nga mas lalo akong naiinis! The effect of that bumbilya on my system!
"Because he's mayabang, Manong, as in ang yabang!" I heard Mang Herbert chuckle, hindi niya na pinansin ang pagmumuktol ko at nag-focus nalang sa pagda-drive. I need to go home to change, doll house, or my ballet institution is just a few minutes drive from our village so I have no worries, hindi naman ako magtatagal sa house.
"Sino ba 'yan, 'nak?" My blood quickly rushed to my cheeks, even just his name makes me remember his pierced ears and arrogant smirk, I hate him! I instantly rolled my eyes and sighed, the cross on my chest tightened.
"The anak ng Mayor, Manong," I explained, I saw his brows knit through the rear mirror.
"Sino roon? Si Lennox o 'yong Leighton? Saan mo naman nakita 'yon? Pumunta ka ba sa Priston?" I shook my head and frowned more, paano ba kilala ni Manong 'yang mga Sibal? I know my parents know them, too because they help them campaign but I don't care!
"None of the above, Manong, it's Lucius! And no, I won't step on Priston, that's too far and wala akong interest sa kanila," I put an end to his hunch of me going to that private and international school.
"Ah.. 'Yong bunso nila Mayor," ngumiwi ako, ganoon ba sila kasikat?
I mean, okay I know the Sibals, I know that they rule the whole province for heaven knows how long but, I don't pry on politics, hindi ako 'yung tipo na alam ang mga pangalan nila hanggang sa mga anak nung nasa posisyon, I don't even know what's the name of the Mayor's wife, it just shows how uninterested I am to them.
"How do you even know them, Manong?"
"Ang Aling Tising mo'y nagta-trabaho sa mga Sibal ngayon," my eyes widened.
"What?! Really?! Oh gosh, kailangan ko siyang makita! Manong naman kasi you promised that you will bring Nanay Tising back sa house!" I said as if I'm a child who's throwing a tantrum, Aling Tising was my nanny when I was a child, she just got fired kasi sobrang dependent ko na raw kasi sa kaniya, walang sense, 'di ba?!
"Busy sa mga Sibal si Tising, Ophelia," ngumuso nalang ako, they are cousins that's why Mang Herbert is close to my former nanny. "Pero 'yong pangalawang anak ata ang inaalagaan ni Tising, bunso 'yang si Lucius e," I exhaled some air off my mouth and closed my eyes, I should stop thinking about that bumbilyang pest.
"Stop! What's wrong with your posture, and your développé is too shaky!" I exhaled and bit my lower lips, maybe I'm just too tired, just thinking about the things that needs to be done by tomorrow tires me, it affects my performance, darn.
