Just like how some waits for the sun to fall, people wants to witness a person who's once on top lose their way 'til they can soar no more.. It's like it's easier for the world to watch a person lose their way than watch them succeed.

Tinignan ko si Jasmine at inismiran, the crew is preparing for the flight. I blew my cheeks, preparing myself for the endless smiles that I will have to do while on the flight. I work at Avillation and Jasmine is my workmate.

"Obviously," I chuckled and shook my head.

"Pasok na, hinahanap na tayo ni Captain Bien, nag-a-attendance na late ka, lagot," she threatened me. But I just shrugged it off.

"I've been here since one in the morning, ikaw ang late," I fixed my neck scarf that matched with my blue and white uniform. "Halika na, baka magalit na 'yon," I tilted my head and massaged it lightly. I'm not the one who's in charged for today's flight, tinawagan lang ako dahil nga kulang daw sa crew.

The one who I replaced today had a severe asthma attack, that's why. I sighed, I love what I do.. But sometimes it's just too.. Tiring. Although with my situation, I can't find the heart to be tired, a life is depending on me, I can't stop.

"Ilang oras tulog mo?" She yawned and snaked her arm on my hips. The clicking of our heels complemented the marble tiling, it sounded so much like power and fierceness.

"Three lang," I yawned as well, nahawa na ako sa hikab niya.

"Hala? Seryoso?"

"Oo, ginawa ko pa kasi 'yong project ni Seve," I explained and straightened my back. Umupo na kami roon sa mga bakal na upuan, with our skirt uniform I felt the coldness of the material.

Our purser started to check our attendance, alas-kuatro ang flight namin papunta sa Malaysia. It's currently two-thirty in the morning.

It's hard to face it all alone, it's hard to be a single mother most specially when your work requires hours of the day. Hindi pa sigurado kung makaka-uwi agad, I know my child is smart.. But I'm starting to feel hurt for him.

"Dedicated Mommy talaga," she joked and bumped my shoulders. I didn't need to bring plenty of clothes.

"You'll understand when you become a mother," kahit pagod ay hinatak ko na ang handle ng aking maliit na luggage. Chin up and all smiles, even with just walking I could feel the impact of our flock, the cabin crew.
