Ash: Let's go, Pikachu!
Ash crossed his arms as their Z Crystals glow as he did the Z Pose of the appointed crystal. The Z Power then goes from Ash to his Pokemon. This is our full power! Corkscrew Crash!
Pikachu jumps into the air and spins around rapidly, turning into a yellow drill that strikes the obstacles with full force.
Ash: Yeah! It worked!
Mallow: Amazing!
Kiawe: So that's the Steel type Z-Move!
Ash: You did it, Pikachu!
Kiawe: That was so intense!
Rotom: I got it all on video, zzt!
Gino: Now, Pikachu knows three types of Z-Moves!
Lana: Electric, Normal and Steel!
Sophocles: Looking at them made me want to use a Z-Move, too!
Mallow: I know, right?
Principal Oak: Hey!
Principal Oak came out to the schoolyard and looks like he's got something to tell them.
Principal Oak: It's almost time!
Ash: Huh? Oh, that's right.
Sophocles: Professor Kukui told us to assemble at Aether Paradise, right?
Lillie: He claimed to have an important announcement there...
Mallow: What could it be?
Principal Oak: You'll have to wait with calSpiritomb! Gengar! Mothim!
They then went on ahead without him noticing.
Principal Oak: Wait for me! Mankey! Metang! Mantine!
Later, the group has arrived at Aether Paradise and finds a lot of people attending the event.
Ash: Look at all these people!
Burnet: Everybody! Over here!
Ash: Professor Burnet!
They all then soon took their seats as they waited for the big announcement. They soon see Ana as she walked up to the crowd.
Ana: We're terribly sorry to have kept you all waiting! The presenter for this event is finally here! Professor Kukui, everyone!
Everyone in the crowd then claps as Professor Kukui walks up beside Ana.
Burnet: You can do it, Kukui!
Kukui: All right, it's time for my announcement... We've decided to hold an Alolan Pokemon League!
The attendants, as well as the class, is amazed at this news.
Ash: Awesome!
Everyone was hearing Kukui's announcement far throughout the Alola Region on tv. Team Rocket sees it, Gladion sees it with his Umbreon.
Kukui: The Pokemon League is easy to explain. It's a tournament to crown the Champion, the strongest here in the Alola Region! But the most important thing isn't who becomes Champion. What matters is that all the trainers and Pokemon participating fight as one... and clash with all their might against the opponents, helping everyone grow! Contestants learning from each other... is the true appeal of this tournament! Their heated battles are sure to bring dreams, hopes and awe to the people!
