Team Skull sent a letter to Gino when he left school. It was to meet up with them for some unexplained reason. When Gino read the letter, he sighed. "It's going to be one of those days, huh?" He arrived to Melemelee island and went to the spot Team Skull requested.
"I'm here. What do you want?" Gino said.
"We would like to say thanks for helping us attempt to retrieve the Z-Crystal." Skull grunt 1 said.
"Huh?" Gino was blank faced. "Thanking... me?"
"Don't get the wrong idea though!" Skull grunt 2 yelled.
"Just because you helped us and we're nice enough to say thanks, doesn't mean we're all buddy-buddy now!" Skull grunt 3 explained.
"O-kay? I didn't plan to be friend with you guys anyways." Gino said. Team Skull saw another person with an umbreon walking from the corner.
"Hey! Looks like we've got a customer..." Skull grunt 1 pointed.
"Skull we go for it, Brother?" Skull grunt 2 asked.
"Yeah." Skull grunt 1 nodded. They all stood up.
The boy walked along the path and Team Skull popped their head out.
"Hold it, you." Skull grunt 1 ordered. No response. "Ya ignorin' me?!"
"Yer a pretty cheeky bastard, ignorin' our Brother!" Skull grunt 2 yelled.
"Ya leave that Umbreon with us, Mister Cheeky Bastard!" Skull grunt 3 ordered. The boy stopped walking and looked at them.
"Ya just gave me a glare, didn'tcha?" Skull grunt 1 fumed.
"Guys, leave him alone." Gino said.
"Oh we were, but he shot us a glare. When two trainers make eye contact, it's battle time! Come on out, Salandit!" Skull grunt 1 threw his pokeball.
"Yer up, Garbador!"
"Countin' on ya, Zubat!"
The boy took out his Pokeball. "Come forth, crimson glare. Lycanroc." He tossed his Pokeball and a Midnight Form Lycanroc popped out.
"Lycanroc? Could he be a strong trainer!" Skull grunt 2 cautioned.
"Umbreon would be a good catch, but Lycanroc would be even better!" Skull grunt 3 added.
"Lets do this, Salandit. Use Venoshock!" Skull grunt 1 ordered.
"Zubat, use Leech Life!"
"Garbador, use Sludge Bomb!"
"Stone Edge." The boy said. Lycanroc punched the ground, making giant spike appear from underground. It took out all the Pokémon.
"Yer tough..." Skull grunt 1 said.
"With just one attack?!" Skull grunt 2 added.
"What just happened?!" Skull grunt 3 finished.
"Return!" They all returned their Pokémon. "We're getting out of here, full throttle!" Skull grunt 1 said.
"We'll get ya for this!" Skull grunt 2 yelled before they all dashed away.
The boy and his Lycanroc were staring at Gino before walking away. "Umbreon, let's go." He put his Lycanroc back into the Pokeball and headed out with Umbreon.
"I wonder who he is." Gino thought to himself. He decided to follow the boy from a distance.
At the Pokémon School~~~
All the Pokémon were in a line following each other.
"So cute! Are they playing Caterpie?" Lana guessed.
