The sunny Alola Region. Today's lesson at the Pokemon School seems to be taking place at the sea. Doesn't it look very fun?
Ash was splashing Pikachu in the water and turned to Rotom. "You should come out here too, Rotom! It feels great!"
"No thanks, zzt. Sea water is dangerous, zzt." Rotom looked away.
"Your body is waterproof, so you should be A-OK!" Kukui assured him.
"But what if water was to get in somewhere, zzt? It could corrupt my data, zzt." Rotom said.
"Don't say that!" Gino whined. He was hiding behind Professor Kukui's chair.
"Like I said, Rotom, you're waterproof so you should be fine. And, Gino, why don't you play with Ash? He's not that far in the water?" Kukui said.
"No! I can't enjoy walks on the beach ever since Team Rocket attacked me and the Pokemon. If I see water go anywhere near me..." Gino quaked. Just then Rotom got shot with a water gun, which made Gino scream and take cover.
"Looks like you are perfectly water to me, Rotom!" Sophocles said. Gino poked his head out but he was very angry.
"Sophocles..." Gino growled.
"What was that for, zzt?!" Rotom yelled.
"Whoa, what's that Sophocles?" Ash asked.
"A Clawitzer water gun! It has automatic aiming and a water pressure adjustment feature! Since i thought we might play in the water, I thought I'd try making this." Sophocles explained.
"You made that?! That's awesome!" Ash said. Sophocles and Ash went into the water and tried out the water gun.
"How basic, zzt. Scooping up water like that is really inefficient, zzt. 50% of the water leaks through your hands. There is no more than a 30% chance of beating your opponent." Rotom calculated.
Mallow took Lillie's hand. "Let's go, Lillie!"
"Huh?"
"Professor Kukui! Look after the egg for us!" Mallow yelled.
"Sure thing. I've got it covered!" Kukui said.
"Kiawe! Come join the boys' team!" Sophocles yelled.
"Guess I have to!" Kiawe got up.
Professor Kukui looked at the egg. "You should hurry up too so you can play with everyone."
"Kukui. I going over to the rocks over there." Gino got up and stretched.
"Do you want me to join you?" Kukui asked.
"I'm fine. Anyways, you have to watch the egg remember?" Gino said before running off. He walked over to the rocks and sat down at the bottom. "Finally, some peace and quiet." Gino layed down and almost fell asleep until...
"Ah, this is pointless!" Someone said. Gino sat back up and went to investigate the noise. Gino gasped and hid. It was Team Rocket. "We're just sitting here!" Jessie complained.
"I told you so!" James sighed.
"Fine, you two can do it. I'm thirsty." Jessie grabbed a bag and pulled out a doughnut. She took a sip of the drink and bit into the treat.
"Malasada Doughnuts!" Meowth cried.
"When did you get those?" James asked.
"I bought them! They're mine!" Jessie held it high until a Wingull snatched it out of her hand. "My Malasada! Hey! Give it back! Come back!" She yelled.
"A Wingull? Would it be good to catch it?" James said.
"No way! It took my precious Malasada! I won't forgive it!" She stomped. They saw a cloyster and went to catch it.
