In the first round of the Alola Pokemon League's final tournament, intense battles took place and eight winners were determined. For the second round the battles will intensify further and who could be the victors?
1: Gladion VS LeJames
2: Ash VS Hau
3: Gino VS Kiawe
4: Guzma VS Lana
We go to a group of familiar Pikipek as they were playing and we see more Pikipek, a Trumbeak and a Toucannon at the nest as they hear something in the air. It appears to be the Wingull that Rowlet talked to before as it flies down and talks to Toucannon about Rowlet's upcoming battle against Decidueye. After explaining the details, they all decided to take to the skies and head towards Manalo Stadium. Speaking of which, we go to Manalo Stadium and it looks like Ash is getting some training in.
Ash: Pikachu, Iron Tail!
Pikachu jumps up and uses Iron Tail, aiming at Rowlet.
Ash: Dodge Rowlet!
Rowlet tries to fly up and dodge it, but Pikachu strikes it and it gets knocked back.
Ash: Rowlet! Are you okay?
Rowlet: Koo!
Rowlet gets up and gives him a thumbs up, showing Ash he's okay.
Rotom: I don't know about this.
Ash: He can do it, right Rowlet?
Rowlet: Koo!
Mallow: There they are!
Ash looks over to see everyone as they walk up to him.
Lillie: Alola! You're up early today.
Ash: Alola!
Sophocles: You weren't in your room, so I wondered where you went.
Ash: Yeah, Rowlet woke me up.
Sophocles: Rowlet did?!
Lana: Amazing.
Rotom: Rowlet's been aching to go ever since last night.
Ash: We get to battle Hau and Decidueye. In a huge arena no less. Isn't this exciting, Rowlet?
Rowlet: Koo!
Kiawe: About that... I know he beat Dartrix last time, but now that it evolved into Decidueye, Rowlet has to be at a disadvantage. Won't it be better to battle with a Fire type like Torracat?
Sophocles: Yeah, Torracat would be at a better advantage.
Mallow: Yeah.
Ash: I'm going with Rowlet.
Kiawe: Ash.
Sophocles: Do you have a plan?
Ash: Nope.
All: Huh?
Ash: But Rowlet wants to fight. I trust Rowlet. He'll pull through.
Gino: I understand completely.
Lana: But he-
Gino: Come on guys just think about it. Rowlet and Decidueye are rivals just like Ash and I are with others. Kiawe, you wouldn't want to battle another trainer just because Ash would ever think you weren't good enough, would you?
Kiawe: No, I'd want to battle him myself and win!
Gino: There ya go, that's how Rowlet feels, advantage or not.
