We start off in Alola where everyone is on a boat as it looks like they're heading somewhere.
Kiawe: I see it now!
Ash: Where?
Sophocles: There! See?
They look ahead and see a city up ahead on Ula'Ula Island but it looks somewhat off.
Gino: It doesn't look very Alola-like...
Lillie: I've read about this in a book. It seems the city of Malie was modeled after the Johto Region. And in Malie Garden, there are working Pokemon who tend to the tourists' needs.
Ash: Really? That's awesome! I wanna go check out Malie Garden!
Mallow: I hear there's a lot of food stands selling foods, too. I can't wait!
Shaymin: Shaymin!
Lana: Sandy! Let's have plenty of fun here!
Sandy: Eevee!
It looks like everyone's gone to Ula'Ula Island's Malie City to have fun today. What kind of place will it be? Their trip starts now! As time passed, the boat got to the port as everyone got off of it and went to Malie city.
Ash: So this is Malie City?
Rotom: A two-day, one-night trip to Malie City... I'll make sure to record it, zzt!
It was then that all of a sudden, a strong gust of wind passed by and it blew off Lillie's cap. Ash quickly climbs a pole and grabbed it before it got out of reach and lands back on the ground, handing it back to her.
Mallow: The wind's really strong.
Lillie: Thank you.
Sophocles: Will the weather get bad?
Lana: It's all right. The sea is smiling.
Sophocles: If you say so, then it's gotta be true!
Kiawe: Apparently these occasional strong gusts are a seasonal thing. It shouldn't be a problem for our trip.
Rotom: No problem, zzt...
Ash: Well, then, let's hurry to Malie Garden!
Gino: Don't be in such a hurry. We've gotta meet up with our guide first.
Sandy looks around at many things that got it curious as it hops out of Lana's arms and runs around.
Lana: Sandy!
Mallow: Sandy really is quite curious.
Lana: Don't go too far.
Sandy then changed direction, going into traffic.
Kiawe: Hey! That way is dangerous!
Lana: Sandy!
It was then that Shaymin hops out of Mallow's arms as it lands in front of Sandy and pushed it out of the way, saving it from a car that went by.
Sandy: Vee!
Shaymin: Min!
Lana: Don't leap into the road. It's dangerous!
Sandy: Eevee.
Lana: Thank you, Shaymin.
Mallow: Well done!
Shaymin: Min!
Lillie: Shaymin is quite attentive.
Mallow: It might be thanks to Tsareena. Whenever I have my hands full in the kitchen and stuff like that, she looks after Shaymin for me. It looks like she's been teaching Shaymin all kinds of things.
