Jikyo: Here comes the fifth round! Contestant Gino and Contestant Sophocles are entering the arena! Contestant Gino is a Pokemon researcher and is currently the wife of Mr. Hala!
Gino: Huh... Wife?
Jikyo: His opponent, Contestant Sophocles, studies in the Pokemon School together with Gino! Now, what kind of battle will they give us?
Nanu: Both of you, bring forth your Pokemon.
Sophocles: Vikavolt, I choose you!
Vikavolt: Vika!
Gino nodded as he knew he was going to choose Vikavolt.
Gino: Hey, Sophocles, I brought an old familiar friend just for this occasion!
Gino tossed out a Passimian, specifically, Tiny.
Sophocles: I-It's Tiny!
Jikyo: It looks like Contestant Sophocles is going with Vikavolt and Contestant Gino is going with Passimian!
Gino suddenly held out her three fingers, much to the confusion of the audience and his opponent.
Jikyo: What's this? Is he signaling something to his Passimian?
Gino: Three minutes. I will end this battle in just three minutes.
Sophocles: (Thinking) Has he already predicted my defeat?
Nanu: Let the battle... begin!
Sophocles: Vikavolt, start off with a Zap Cannon!
Vikavolt uses Zap Cannon and launches it at Tiny.
Gino: Tiny, Counter with Focus Blast!
Tiny charges a sphere and then launches it at the Zap Cannon as they both made contact, creating an explosion.
Ash: Whoa, it now knows Focus Blast!
Gino: Now, use Thunder Punch!
In the midst of the smoke, Tiny charges in behind Vikavolt, with its fist glowing brightly with electricity and uses Thunder Punch!
Sophocles: Quick, dodge it and fly up!
Vikavolt managed to dodge the Thunder Punch and flies up in the air.
Sophocles: Close one.
Kiawe: Vikavolt has the aerial advantage, as long as its up there, Tiny can't touch it.
Lana: If that keeps up, then Sophocles can win this!
Ash: True, but maybe Gino chose Passimian for a reason, let's see.
Sophocles: Vikavolt, String Shot!
Vikavolt uses String Shot and launched it at Tiny.
Gino: Dodge it!
Tiny then dodges it as Vikavolt kept launching String Shot at it.
Sophocles: (Thinking) If we can just hold it still. (Speaking) Keep it up!
Gino: Quick, Focus Blast!
Tiny stopped for a second as it launched Focus Blast at Vikavolt, but then gets entangled in the String Shot. Vikavolt, in turn, gets hit by the Focus Blast.
Gino: Tiny, tuck and roll!
Tiny, still wrapped by the String Shot, starts to roll around the battlefield.
Lana: What is Ryan doing?
Rotom: I'm confused as well.
Gino: Now!
