Coming back from a school that was on a different island is tiring but not to Gino. He takes a boat to and from the school. While riding on a boat back to Melemelee island, Gino saw one of his friends fishing for Pokemon. He headed over but stopped when he saw someone who was on a Sharpedo. The kid was startled by the Pokemon that jumped out that he fell into the water. Gino laughed and walked away to the Pokemon school. There he met up with another friend of his, who was also scared of Pokemon, Lillie.

"Alola, Lillie!" Gino waved. Lillie turned around and waved back.

"Alola, Gino! How was the new recipe?" she asked.

"It was amazing! Thanks a bunch!" Gino smiled. Just then they heard a rumble in the bushes. Lillie jumped and hid behind Gino for cover. A boy jumped out from there. His eyes widen when he saw the school.

"Oh, man! So many Pokemon!" He said while hopping the fence. He was walking towards them.

"No, look out!" Lillie said. He was confused at first but got the message when he saw a bunch of Tauros running at him. He got trampled.

"Stop, Tauros slow down!" The green-haired girl yelled. The boy's Pikachu and Lillie went over to the boy.

"Are you okay?" Lillie asked. The boy grabbed his hat and smiled.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine! Actually I'm good with Tauros. You see, I caught some before." He said. A Tauros approached him which caused Lillie to get startled and hide behind the boy. Then she saw Pikachu and ran over to Gino. "Hey, you're acting like you're scared of Pokemon."

"I'm not scared. I love Pokemon. At least from a researcher point of view..." Lillie argued. The boy looked at Gino who smiled and shrugged.

"I'm so very sorry. You came out of the forest so quickly I couldn't stop." The green haired girl apologized.

"The thing is, Lillie can't touch Pokemon." The small boy explained.

"I can touch Pokemon! I can touch them if I really really want to!" Lillie huffed while crossing her arms.

"Don't worry. Don't get all frustrated. One day you will be able to, if you want." The green-haired girl said.

"Right." The blue haired one nodded. The boy was surprised when he saw her.

"You! I saw you at the ocean earlier! You were fishing!"

"Hey you know this guy?" The green-haired girl asked.

"I'm Ask Ketchum. I came from Pallet Town, from the Kanto region. And this is my buddy Pikachu! Nice to meet cha!" He introduced himself. "So what is this place?"

"It's the Pokemon school." Gino said, placing a hand on his hip.

"I heard of the Pokemon school! I guess I must of missed it." Ash said while sighing.

"I guess you must have gotten lost." The green girl giggled.

"I guess." Ash shrugged.

"I'll show you around." Grabbing Ash's hand, she walked him towards the school.

"Really?" Ash said.

...

"Man, what a guy." Gino roughly said while fixing his hat. He put his hair into a ponytail.

"Why do you say that?" The blue hair girl asked.

"He got ran over by Tauros and somehow has a cheery mood. It's quite questionable in my opinion." Gino hinted.

"Maybe he's having a really good day today. Nothing rocks more than having a good day in Alola!" The small boy assured happily. Gino looked around, scanning for someone.
